CONT. Chapter 6 What is love? PART 2

Manny: A baby pidgeon?

You looked up to see a man with yellow butterfly wings sprouting from his back.

Note: Ah it's that dude you seemed to have scared when you scrambled out of your hiding place, that one time...ah great. He had soft really dark (almost black) hair, with two antennas sprouting on both sides of his head. Both had a heart at the end of them while the right one was a bit messed up. He had some neck scarf thing with a heart in the middle. It was the same butter yellow as his wings, you remembered them just being flowing pieces of cloth behind him from your first encounter, but you guess he can change them to real wings. Both had pastel colored scribbles on them being lines or uh shapes. He wore a dark purple top with yellow heart shaped buttons on the left side. He then had the same colored dark purple shoulder puffy cuffs (I don't know what they're really called) with yellow ribbons ending them right after the bottom shoulder, then he had green flowing sleeves. They ended where his hands were with yellow ribbon cuffs. He wore gloves just like Tony but with pink hearts on his palms. Where you assumed his diaphragm was, was another yellow ribbon around that area and then the bottom of the shirt had two small triangular hems with hearts on the bottom of each. On that area, there were two blue dots on each side. His pants were dark green with the same yellow ribbon and hearts on the knee area. Then he had black shiny boots that were a bit pointed at the toe area. Damn this dude must really like or should you say "love" hearts.

He was currently fluttering next to Manny, a pleased smile on his face and a gloved hand stretched out towards him. Like hell you'll let him hurt Manny, so you stood up with a hand on your hip.

You: Hey! Stay away from my lil cousin!

?: *turns his head towards you* Oh! *his eyes widen with glee as he clasps his hands* You're his cousin I see *he flutters down towards you and lands in front of you*

You: *squints your eyes at him* I know you're just like that humanized sketchbook and clock. Don't try anything *crosses your arms*

?: *claps his hands giggling* Oh yes! I've been told about you *leans to whisper near your ear* You also nursed me back to my health

You: *you realized that he was right and almost took a step back* Oh yeah, and you got scared when I jumped out at you

?: *scoffs* Well I wasn't ready for that *steps back smiling* Also, I must teach my lesson it is very important for the two of you *wags his fingers*

You: *rolls your eyes* mhm sure what's it about? Bugs?

?: *laughs* No, no, no, of course not! *after some time of laughing it dies down and he clears his throat* I'm going to teach you both about *steps back* Love! *uses both arms to make a heart motion...shape...thing*

You: *cringes* Uh why Manny though? He's just a kid

?: Well duh, he needs to know about love so that he can reject people who chose to harm him with it, and then which ones are acceptable *eerie smile*

You: 'I...wait wtf' Uh-

?: I mean I'm just repaying the favor of you two helping me

You: Wait, how did you get fre-

?: *looking up* Oh look we're wasting *face cringes* time...

You: That'll have to wait Mr. Butterfly, Manny and I need to get going-

?: Oh too late for that *points up* and it's Shrignold dear, Shrignold the butterfly *feigns a smile*

You look up to see Manny currently sitting on a cloud that had a face. And before you could react, Mr. Butt- Shrignold gently grabbed your arm and flew towards the cloud, and set you down on it. You instantly scrambled to stay near Manny. Shrignold landed on the cloud and cleared his throat then began to sing. As much as you hate to admit it, he has a pretty nice singing voice, you might even call it "angelic." Then he started to sing about love being a feeling deep inside and you heard Manny's stomach growl as he whined a bit saying, "Because I'm hungry!" and you too felt hungry and tried to pause Shrignold who simply laughed rolling his eyes saying "No, you're lonely! I can see it in your eyes" as soon as he mentioned being lonely, he looked you right in your eyes. Feeling uncomfortable and a bit embarrassed you looked away to break the eye contact. This caused Shrignold to give a chuckle your way then continued with his singing mentioning something about meeting his friends- wait what?!
