The wind doesn't blow. The forest silenced. In that silence, sobbing of a father peirce the skin of silence. In the mansion the family and pack sits in the meeting room, listening to the tale of how one of their own was taken. The family and pack mourns for their lost. Under the mourning, there is anger. The fae and wolves all have vengeance in their eyes.

Guilt peirce the air, every head turns to the witch with his head bent, tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry." The witch whispers out. His strong mate stands next to him, wrapping his arms around him, he ask why.

"It's my fault they came." The witch buries his face in his mate's chest. The mate tightens his arms around the witch.

"Never blame yourself for the abduction of my brother."

The witch sniffles. "But."

He didn't get to finish, for the mate stopped his words. "My love, the only one at fault are the hunters."

The witch nods his head, knowing if he doesn't agree they will be disagreeing for hours.

The fae and wolves all heard the conversation. They didn't blame the witch. For they knew it was the fault of the hunters.

The Alpha stands, grief flows from him, but he stands tall and powerful. His mate is sobbing in his arms. He clings to the alpha for dear life.

The brothers of the witch's mate stands behind the alphas. Tears flowing down their face. Sorrow fills the room to the brim.

"Today my son was taken." The Alpha speaks quietly knowing they all could hear him. "Action will be taken to get him back."

The crowd stays quiet. "I want my war wolves and generals to meet me at the round table."

The alpha picks his sobbing mate up on his arms, and carries him out of the room. The family following behind.

They walk to the Alphas' bedroom. Getting there, the second eldest opens the door. They all walk in, setting the sobbing alpha's mate on the bed.

The Alpha turns to the youngest brothers. "Comfort your father, he needs you more than ever."

The youngest brothers nod their heads, as they crawl into the bed, and wrap their arms around their father.

The Alpha turns to the two eldest brothers and the witch. Nodding his head towards the door, they quietly walk out the door.

They all walk down the hall silently, caught up in their own thoughts. Opening the door to the meeting hall."

The hush talking stops as they walk into the room. Taking a seat at the round table, they prepare for the Alpha to speak.

The alpha opens his mouth, but he couldn't speak, for the door slams open. Every head turns to the wolf.

"Alpha! Hunters are on the eastern border!" The wolf pants out. Everyone jumps up and runs out the room.

Into the woods everyone runs, including the witch on the back of his mate's back. The wolves and fae run through the woods, trampling the ground.

The closer they get, a sounds of a battle rings through the air. They run faster, running into the clearing.

They are met with a sight. Blood on the ground and trees. Body parts litter the ground.

The wolves and fae jump into the battle. Tearing the hunters apart. Gun fire and smoke fills the air. A few wolves and fae falls to the ground wounded.

When the smoke clears up all hunters are died but one. Tied to a tree, he looks to be the leader. The alpha steps toward him.

"Take him to the cells, I'll deal with him there!" The alpha orders. The wolves and fae takes the captured hunter to the cells.

As the family walks back to the house. The alpha turns to his sons and the witch. "We are one step closer to Ause."

The brothers and witch cheer, for they one step closer to getting their brother back. But they didn't know that what is fixing to happen ceither destroy them or end it the wotch and hunter war.
