i hear the footsteps blur out, signifying that maybe he went to the other side of the house. i grab the umbrella that sat in the corner and crawled to the button that opens the garage. i hit it with the umbrella, causing a loud noise. the garage door can be heard throughout the whole house, so zachary 100% knew i was escaping. i didn't have much time because i heard his stomps approaching very quickly. i used the umbrella as a walking stick. it didn't change the fact that it hurt like hell. i make my way as fast as i can towards the garage door.
suddenly, i see it start to close. i turn around to see zach standing at the button with a smirk. i push my legs as hard as i can, trying to make it to the opening. i crawl under the door as it came close to closing.
thank my father watching over me that i made it out alive. i push my legs to the limit, running on the sidewalk to somewhere. anywhere away from zach. i saw a familiar car drive up. it was alejandro.
he pulled over and got out. he wrapped his arms around me and tried to help me up, but there i collapsed in his arms, blacking out once again.
