   Camden

"Babe?" I turned around from drying my hands on a rag to see Alistair sitting at the table, nursing a hot cup of coffee. "I want to get married."

The rag dropped from my hand. "N-now?" He nodded. "As soon as possible. I don't want someone to take you from me again." He stood up and walked towards me, handing me the forgotten rag. "I love you, Camden. I want you to be mine, legally."

He held my palms in his hands, letting the light hit my ring just perfectly as he rubbed my hands with his thumb. "When do you think we should?"

"Tomorrow."

I blinked. "I'm not sure about tomorrow. There's stuff I'd like to do before marriage." I took my hands from him. "I'll be right back, okay?" He nodded numbly, putting a twist in my heart. I gritted my teeth and took the stairs to our bedroom, before tearing apart my half of the closet, withdrawing a plain black binder.

I headed back down, the binder in hand. I nodded towards the table and Alistair complied, taking back his original seat. I pulled up one next to him and opened my binder.

"This is my dream wedding binder." He scanned over the images by laminated sheets. There was my tux, the cake, the venue. "Of course, everything can be altered, it's not just my decision after all. But, this is the hope for it." He hummed, brushing his hand against mine. "I do like the cake," he said slowly. "Are you okay with the tuxedo change?" I glanced back down at the pastel pink tuxedos. "yeah, that sounds fine. What color would you like? There are so many choices! We have to get you tailored of course, by Gio, but we can set the date for tomorrow if you'd like." I knew I was rambling, but I was rather excited. This was my wedding, after all. Hopefully my only one. "--And then there are the invites. Who should we or should not invite."

He took a sip from his mug. "Would you like to invite Lyra and Clyde?" I winced. "Well, I-I would like to see them there. They're the closest things I have to parents, you know? But I don't forgive them. They fucked me over more times than a bunny in heat."

"Also, there are a few things important to me that I would like to do before the wedding."

"Like what?"

"I--" I swallowed. "I'm going to disband the hunter organization, and I would like to publicly apologize to everyone supernatural."

He scowled. "They'll never accept that, you know that." I swallowed once more, nervous butterflies locked in a frenzied dance in my stomach.

"That--That's why I want you to make me a full-blooded vampire."
