I frowned at the failing wand in my hands and turned to Severus, he had to die in order for it to work. For me to kill Potter I had to kill Severus. I ordered the Snake to kill her and he sat shaking against the wall. I couldn't help but be happy. Now the elder wand would work, now it was mine. All mine. Severus held out an envelope, now smeared with blood. Tom was written on it in her writing. I snatched it away and left him to die. The shreiking shack wasn't suitable for a fight. I wanted everyone to see the moment Potters eyes widened in shock when he realized he was going to die. I went to the forbidden forest and opened the letter;

Dear Tom,

I will miss you. But I have missed you for some time now. It is rare when the pompous boy I met on the lake exists anymore. You truly are Voldemort. The darkness within you has taken over and consumed you completely. The selfish part of me loves that your changing the world so quickly but the realistic part of me knows you were wrong and when it most counts you will not win. I'm sorry Tom but its the truth. You don't stand a chance.

The reason I leave you is because I am no longer your equal- not in your eyes at least. And I am carrying our child. I thought you should know that I'm going to hide so I can protect it and it can be innocent no matter who it's father is. But Tom just know you were the only one who has ever touched my heart...
