The Hustle Part 4- Thomas Westerberg

"Wait, so you came up with YaBurnt, but you got bought you out?" You asked Thomas, while walking around. "Yup." He said, looking down with his hands in his pockets. "How Much did they give you?" You asked. "A cool million. Um, but I only have $4,000 left." Thomas said. "Uh, but it's okay. My nana's gonna loan me the rest for Penny's treatment." He said, causing you look down, feeling bad about exploiting him and his kind heart.

"So, after you pay the Dr. Schauffhaussen fee, you'd be broke?" You asked. "Yeah, but it's fine. Because I have a lot of good ideas, and hoodies are cheap." Thomas said, chuckling. "Why would you bankrupt yourself for someone you don't even know? I mean my and Penny are just strangers." You said. Well, my nana always said that the best thing money can do is good. And Penny getting to see again is good. Plus, you're not a strangers. You're Y/N and Penny." He said, looking down smiling. "Yeah, we are." You said, smiling and blushing.

You and Thomas walked around for a while before stopping to get ice cream. You were sat with Thomas eating Y/F/I/C(your favorite ice cream), when Thomas asked "Is that nice?" "Yeah, you want some?" You asked. "Oh, uh yeah, sure." Thomas said. You decided to play around with him though and instead of giving him the cone, you push the ice cream on to his face and begin to giggle. He looks shocked for a moment before he starts to laugh with you.

You both stop laughing after a while and stare into each other's eyes a bit too long. You are the first to look away as you try to laugh it off. "Well I should probably head back to Dr. Schauffhaussen's to make sure Penny, got home alright." You said. "Uh, yeah. I'll walk you there." Thomas says, still thinking about a couple moments ago.

When you got to Josephine's house you turned to Thomas and said "Thanks for walking me here." "Um, yeah. Of course. Uh, Y/N I was wondering if you would want to hang out again maybe, like a date. I mean it doesn't have to be if you don't want to, I just was wondering if you would like but I under-" Thomas rambled before you briefly kissed him. He looked at you shocked and you looked down trying to stop yourself from smiling too much. "I'd live to go on a date with you Thomas, what about tomorrow morning." You said. "Alright I'll pick you up tomorrow." Thomas said, walking away and fist bumping the air. You giggled as you walked inside.

When you walked inside, you saw Penny with her hand stuck to the wall, trying to grab a bottle of super glue remover. "Oh my god! What happened to you?" You asked laughing a little. "I'll tell you later, could you grab that bottle and help me out here?" You grabbed the bottle and helped Penny detach her hand from the wall, giggling slightly the whole time.

"So, what happened?" You asked when you finally freed her. "Jo came back and she brought the Housewives of Essex with her." Penny said. "Wow, note to self: don't go to Essex." You said. "So, did you have fun with Tom?" Penny asked. " Yeah, we went and got ice cream and then he asked to go on a date with me tomorrow morning." You said, blushing. "Oh my god! You like him, don't you?" Penny said, shocked. "This isn't good, Y/N. You know we need the money." Penny said, looking at you with disappointment." We need to call the bet off Penny." You said. "What? We can't can't Y/N! Then we lose to Jo." Penny said.

"He's a good guy, Penny." You insisted. "There's no such thing Y/N. You know how guys are they only want one thing." Penny said, solemnly. "He's different. Before we started doing this together and it was just me catfishing there was always this one moment where I would decide, "I'm gonna take your money." And it wasn't when they fell for the superficial hot girl bait or when they texted dick pics like complete animals. It was when we'd meet up in person and I'd come in and he'd just look at me like I wasn't worth the time. And that's when I'd decide to rob him blind." You said, tearing up. "But when Thomas looks at me, he doesn't do that. He's just different. He's a genuinely nice person, Penny." You said, a tear rolling down your cheek.

"Alright, fine! We'll call off the deal with Josephine." Penny said. You hugged Penny and said "Thank you!" "Of course, you are my best friend. Plus, you manipulated me with that single tear thing that Jo showed us." Penny said, chuckling with you.

The next morning, you woke up and got ready for your date. "Where's Josephine?" You asked Penny. "She went to Thomas's hot- oh my god!" She said. "What?" You asked. "Me and Jo changed the deal last night. Thomas is the bet now. And she went to his hotel last night." Penny said, and you immediately ran out of the house and hailed a taxi.
