Chapter 12: Time For Some Lore

What happened so far...
Kage has helped defending Carne-village and afterwards he had a little talk with Ainz and now he is at Sebas house in the capital, waiting for the arrival of Ainz and the other floor guardians, with some exceptions.

3rd person pov

Kage is waiting in the lounge of the mansion Sebas and Solution are staying in, he sits on one of the sofas with Nezuko sleeping with her head on his lap. He has watched the sisters work, or at least try to work as maids. They have made a lot of mistakes but they have potential and they take very good care of Nezuko so Kage is already happy to have them working for Sebas.

Kage:" Sebas, did anything happen before I arrived?"

Sebas:" Just a few days before your arrival Tuare has been taken by the same persons that have sold her as a slave before."

Kage:" And?"

Sebas:" I have safed her with the help of some, humans."

Kage:" I see, could that be traced back to us?"

Sebas:" They know this mansion and that live here."

Kage:" Any complications that could come our way?"

Sebas:" Nothing that is of your concern my lord."

Kage:" I take it that you can handle it on your own?"

Sebas:" Yes, my lord."

Kage:" Good, prepare for the arrival of Ainz and the floor guardians."

Sebas makes a small bow and Kage takes Nezuko to the Cherry blossom Sanctuary and leaves her in Aureole Omega, who squeals like a little girl about having a daughter to take care of, which gets her a Stern look of Kage before he leaves again. The next day Ainz and the floor guardians arrive, Shalltear immediately latches onto Kage.

Kage:" *whispers* No pads? I am pleased."

Shalltear blushes and hides her face in Kages chest.

Ainz:" Sebas, I have been informed that you are harboring some humans here, humans that you weren't allowed to take in."

Sebas is shocked but he doesn't show it.

Kage:" Let me ask you why the real Ainz isn't here, Pandoras Actor?"

Under his gaze Pandoras Actor takes on his real appearance again and Kage isn't happy to not be informed again, this unhappiness shows itself as his dark mist envelopes the whole room and it even forces the floor guardians to take a step back, which isn't possible in Shalltears case since Kage is holding her rather tight.

Kage:" You will inform me immediately what Ainz has planned, should you decide not to follow this order I will be forced to interfere with anything he has planned."

Demiurge:" Lord Ainz wanted to ensure Sebas loyalty by having him kill the girl he took in."

Kage:" *eyes glow* His loyalty is secured and we will not test it."

Demiurge:" Of course my lord, the second part is about taking control of the criminal underworld in the kingdom."

Kage:" I take it you have already designed a plan for that?"

Demiurge:" Yes my lord."

He goes over his plan of sending a guardian and one of the combat maids, Demiurge will oversee the operation from the mansion and will interfere if something goes wrong.

Shalltear:" Wait what about me? What am I supposed to do?"

Demiurge:" I didn't include you in the plan because your blood-frenzy could get in the way."
