Leah's POV:

Today we have a day off. Jordan and Dan are on their way to pick me up at mine and Carla's apartment, as we're heading downtown to hang out and enjoy our day off. Carla was supposed to come with us too, but her parents are visiting.

As I walk downstairs, I hear the sound of a car pulling up on the parking lot. I went across the hallway and looked out the window, to see Jordan's car.

Jordan's POV:

Me and Dan are sitting in my car, waiting for Leah. A few minutes later she steps outside the apartment, making her way over to us.

"Hi, you alright?" I greet her, as she opens the rear seat door.

"I'm fine. How about you oldies then?" Leah says, smirking at me and Dan.

"Excuse me, what did you just say?" Dan says, while both of us pretending to have a serious facial expression.

The car journey lasts about ten minutes later. A journey filled of jokes and some small talk about whatever coming to our minds.

Dan's POV:

The car journey is over and we decided to go grab some coffee. We sit down in a cafe with a cup of coffee each, as Leah and Jordan are in the middle of a conversation. I do feel like they have forgotten I'm there with them, but I guess this is how it feels to be the third wheel.

"Hey guys, is it okay if the third wheel joins the conversation? Or am I 'not invited' to this meeting?" I say, a bit sarcastic.

"If that's what you wanna call it, but yeah go ahead then." Leah responds, with a playful smirk on her face.

The three of us just kept talking for what seemed to be for hours, before Jordan let out a question.

"Something else you want to do before going back home?" She says.

Before I even have time to think about it, Leah immediately responds "I want to do some shopping.".

I guess that's what we're ending up doing then, I think for myself.

————————————————————

Jordan's POV:

Leah wanted to do some shopping, so me and Dan are following her to every store she goes to, no one out of the three of us actually buying anything. After an hour or two, we decided to go home.

I started my car and began to drive back home. The journey home were nearly quiet. No one were in the mood to utter a word, as we all were a bit tired.

————————————————————

Leah's POV:

I'm the one to be dropped of first. As we're pulling up outside the apartment, I'm the one to break the silence first.

"Thanks for today guys, I really appreciated it!" I say, smiling at my teammates.

"No problem!" They say in unison.

As I step into the apartment and close the door, a message pops up on my phone, lighting up the screen. I look at it to see a message from Carla.

Carla: Hi, just wanted to let you know that I'm out with my parents and that we're going to be back late tonight.

Me: Okay, thanks for letting me know! How has your day been?

Carla: It's been great! How about yours then? Have you come any closer to the 'oldies' yet? 😉
