DADA With Moody

I was really excited because it was our first lesson with Moody because of the tournament and everything that has been going on. Anyway, I walked down to the classroom with Draco, Crabbe & Goyle, Pansy and Theo. When we got in, there weren't many people so we weren't late at least. I sat with Draco on my right and the wall to my left with Goyle to Draco's right. When Moody walked in, he went to the front and wrote his 'name' on the board.

"Alastor Moody, ex-auror, your Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. End of story. Any questions?" no one raised their hand. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Finnigan take gum out of his mouth and stick it under his desk.

"You'll need to find another place to stick your gum other than under your desk Mr. Finnigan." He said something but I couldn't quite hear what it was but I could make a rough guess by Moody's reaction.

"And hear across classrooms!" as he said that, he threw the chalk at him. He told us about the three unforgivable curses but I knew them so well. I started to drift into sleep until I heard my name yelled.

"Miss. Parkinson!  Seeing as you're falling asleep in class, do you think that you know about the unforgivable curses?" I nodded.

"Then in that case, can you name one of them?" he asked. I smirked.

"Well, my personal favourite is the cruciatus but if you're going to demonstrate them, I'd start with the imperius curse." I said. He turned and put a spider on the desk and muttered and incantation to grow the spider so that everyone could see it.

"Imperio." He started to control it and everyone was laughing whenever people screamed as it went around the room. It landed on Draco's face and he screamed. Goyle went to hit it with a book but it moved and he ended up smacking Draco in the face. I know I should've been mad but it was hilarious. He looked at me and I kissed his nose but he winced in pain. I realised it was broken. I pulled out my quirky wand and pointed it at his nose.

"Episkey." His nose cracked slightly as it went back into place and healed itself. I looked up to the front to see Longbottom standing there as Moody tortured the spider with the cruciatus curse. Neville looked really uncomfortable but I was just smirking. I know why he was uncomfortable, his parents were tortured to insanity by a witch that used this curse. The witch? Oh that was Bellatrix. She and Lucius are my role-models. I want to be like them one day and I will be.

My smirk faded once Granger stood up, slamming her hands on the table.

"Stop! Stop it! Can't you see it's bothering him?" Moody looked at her, stopping the curse.

"I suppose you could tell me the last curse?" he asked quietly.

"The killing curse." Granger said. It looked as though it pained her just to say it.

"Avada kedavra." He said as the spider curled up in death. The entire class was silent. No one dared say anything after what had just happened.

"Class dismissed." I stood up and began to put my books in my bag, about to leave the classroom with Draco until I was stopped.

"Miss. Parkinson. Could you stay behind for a few minutes?" Draco looked at me as I looked at him.

"I'll catch up with you in a minute, alright?" he nodded and I kissed his cheek.

"Yes professor? How can I help you?" I asked, emphasising the word professor. He rolled his eyes at me.

"Well, I would like to know if you are any good at making polyjuice potion. I seem to be running low on it." He asked.

"Yes, I can brew it. I also have the ingredients for it too. I might need to see if my mother could send me some but that's only because I don't want to lose all of my supplies." I said.

"Is there anything else? Or can I go and meet up with my friends?" he smirked at me.

"Draco doesn't seem like a friend to me. When were you planning on telling me this?" he asked.

"Well, it's kind of weird to just be like 'oh I go out with Draco Malfoy and I have done since second year.'" I said. He looked shocked to say the least.

"How the bloody hell, did I not know about this?" he asked, bewildered. I just shrugged and walked away. As I got out of the classroom, I bumped into Ruby.

"Hey Ruby!" I said, causing her to jump a bit, not knowing I was there.

"Oh. It's just you Sylv. I was looking for you but I found Draco and asked him where you were. He said you were still here so I was waiting." She said.

"Why did you need to see me small bean?" I asked. She was rather short compared to everyone else. I don't know why though.

"I was wondering if you could help me with boy issues. If it's not too much with the whole tournament thing with the second trial next week." She asked nervously.

"Come with me." I said, heading towards a tree in the courtyard where no one ever really came so it was the perfect place for thinking.

"Okay, who is it? Please tell me it's Blaise." I said. She looked down, blushing slightly.

"It is! Oh my god. This is so exciting! I know he likes you too, but you didn't hear that from me." I said quickly. She looked shocked to say the least. I guess I was a bit too loud because Draco soon came out of nowhere. He wrapped an arm around my waist from the side and kissed my temple lightly.

"What are you two talking about that seems to have gotten Sylv here a little excited?" he asked. I looked at him, happily.

"I'm setting them up." He looked confused then realisation dawned on him.

"Oh. I can help. I mean, I could just tell Blaise to go for it and ask her out. How about this, you two will be in the library tomorrow, studying and doing homework that I know you have and I'll get Blaise and tell him to just do it. I'll come with him and that way, I can be a good friend and be inconspicuous. (I spelt that right on the first try.)" He said. Half of that didn't make any sense but it's Draco so I can't argue with him because most of his plans end up working anyway.

"What? Half of that makes no sense what so ever but I'm just going to go with it as all I have to do is sit in the library." Ruby said shrugging her shoulders.
