Jihyo's POV

I hesitantly knocked on Tzuyu's window. I had given her a week to study and take her test, so maybe she would want to talk to me again.

I hope so.

Tzuyu slid up her window.

"Jihyo!" she yelled, pulling me into a hug.

I laughed. "Did you mis-"

"I'm so sorry about what I did!" she blurted ou. "I was stressed but that's no excuse to treat you the way I did."

I smiled. "It's ok dude."

She laughed. "Come in!"

I climbed through her window, planting myself on her unordinarily empty bed.

"So, why are you here anyway?" Tzuyu asked me, breaking the silence.

I sighed, rubbing the side of my chest where my ribs laid.

She must've noticed. "Is it broken?"

I half smiled. "No, just bruised."

She sighed. "Do you want to . . . spend the night?"

I looked up at her. "Really?"

She seemed to be fighting with her subconscious, but she won. "Yes. You need an escape from . . . them."

She didn't even have to say my parents because we both knew who they were.

I wrapped her in a tight hug. "Thank you."

She sniffled, seemingly holding back tears, but I didn't comment. "You're welcome."
