It wasn't long for Y/n to notice a change in Justin's behavior and his mood swings. He used to be carrying and loving and funny around her
He used to take her in his Tours with him and if he couldn't bring her sometimes because of her work he would fly her out the next hour she said she had a few days free from work, he was craving her presence, touch, and warmth
He used to talk about her in interviews and tell anyone how different she is from the rest of the people he had around in the past and how much he loves her and how he will spend his life next to her, and how he dreams to live on the countryside with her and watch the sunsets every night
But those sayings and those promises were long gone because every warm touch and every sweet word turned into cold glares and faint ghosts of his fingertips on her cheeks, his good night kisses turned into a 'sleep well' mumble, with his back facing her front
His cuddles we're long gone too because he wouldn't touch her anymore when someone was watching or when they were all in their shared house and the hand that was on the lower part of her back every time they were on a red carpet or an interview was missing
Y/n didn't pay any mind to those things because she knew how he could easily go from sweet to bitter, from warm to cold, she was used to it since they knew each other from a very long time, both friendship and relationship
She tried to talk with him and figure out what made his behavior change to fast towards her, wasn't she paying the attention he needed? Wasn't she supportive, wasn't she missing an important date she promised she won't forget? She was beating herself over those questions for days and nights
She wasn't feeling good either, she was throwing up and felt dizzy most of the time but she blamed on the low pressure of blood since she hasn't eaten properly for days and staying up late and waking up when the sun rays hit her window
She was seating on the couch watching her favorite TV show when she got a notification on her phone but she looks back at tv knowing very well that his fans tag her in pictures with him every day, but one her phone started blowing off with notifications she couldn't resist it.
She took her phone and unlocked it and tapped on the Instagram icon seeing the number of tags and comments she had on every picture she posted. She tapped on her profile at 'Tags' and saw a lot of pictures with her boyfriend on a boat smiling and having fun with a few friends she recognized as his back up dancers and a few more celebrities she never met before
She thought why would they make such a big deal out of a few pictures with her boyfriend getting a deserved break from his writing and recording while he was in Jamaica for a few days. What made her eyes pop wide was a specific picture in which was her boyfriend and an unknown woman.
She was in his lap, one hand wrapped around her waist and the other around her shoulders kissing the tip of her nose, her smile huge and eyes closed. She tapped farther down and saw a video which lasted no more than twenty seconds but those were enough to make her heartache and tears appear in her eyes
He had his hands placed on her cheeks and his lips on hers smiling into the kiss, then pulled away taking her in his arms jumping off the boat into the ocean coming back to the surfaces laughing at the camera, the girl coming to the surface to wrapping her arms around his neck from behind
She got her answer in that day. She finally knew why he was so distant, why he was so dreadful while being around her, why his words were so bitter and his start so cold. She started crying and wonder why he didn't tell her, yes, she would have been devastated by the news but this, the way she found out was pure torture
