Sammy woke up to her phone ringing. She tried to grab it but ricky's arms were around her waist. She finally reached it and grabbed it seeing that her mom was calling her.
"hello," sammy said softly trying not to wake up Ricky
"is everything ok?you didn't answer my text this morning." sammy moves her phone to look at the time is was 12:45 pm
"yes, sorry ricky ended up staying the night and we stayed up and fell asleep late." sammy felt ricky pull her closer, her heartbeat picked up a little bit
"ok, i just wanted to make sure you were ok. I should be home late tonight so we can do something tomorrow together, love you."
"ok love you too." sammy ended the call and put her phone down sighing and closing her eyes again
"who was that?" ricky said in a raspy voice
"my mom" sammy said turning towards him opening her eyes looking at him, they were inches apart and sammy held in her breath
"oh- u-um what's the plan for today?" ricky coughed out awkwardly
"if you're not busy i was thinking we could go see a movie and then tonight we can find a hill and look over the city, even though the city is boring."
"sound fun" ricky smiled and let his grip of sammy go even though he didn't want too, he rolled around to grab his phone but ended up falling off the bed
"dumb ass" sammy cried laughing and she didn't know why
"ow" ricky whispered "i landed on my wrist." he hisses from the pain
"i-im so sorry i don't know why i'm laughing" sammy rolled looking over the bed at ricky who gave her a death stare
"five" sammy stopped laughing "four" she jumped up off the bed and sprinted out of the room and ricky got up running after her "three!"
"i'm so sorry! it's not my fault you fell off the bed!" sammy ran down the stairs with ricky behind her
Sammy jumped the last 2 steps and ran down towards her mom's bedroom. Ricky knew where she was going and he sped up. Sammy quickly took a sharp right turn into the laundry room and shut the door quickly locking it. Ricky instantly hit the door.
"ouch, my other wrist." he fell down with a thud and sammy put her hand over her mouth to not laugh
"if i come out you give me a head start," sammy said unlocking the door, ricky didn't respond and sammy waited a few more minutes before opening the door
