Timeline D

Bri and Soda decided to celebrate their nineteenth wedding anniversary at their home in Tulsa. Those invited, were their kids, and their very good friends from 1965.

The air was warm, even at night. They set up a Thanksgiving-style dinner in their dining room with ham, rolls, casserole, everything that they could think of. They wanted this night to be special, not only where they going to be hosting dinner, but it may be the last proper night they were going to have with the entire gang together.

The doorbell rang, which chimed throughout the house. Bri was finishing up cooking a green bean casserole, wearing an asymmetrical purple dress with one sleeve and a white apron over it. She had spent the afternoon putting on makeup and curling her hair for the semi-classy occasion.

"Candy! Can you get that?" Bri called out, putting on a pair of red oven mits and turning off the oven.

Candy straightened out her black shirt which was tucked into a navy blue skirt. She had her hair pinned up in a neat bun, with a sparkly hair pin going through it. She called out, "coming", as she jumped down the stairs and scurried to the door.

She opened the French doors and was greeted by her Uncle Darry and Dally.

"Hey, kiddo!" Darry said enthusiastically, scooping her up into a hug and kissing her cheek. He set her down and asked, "where's the old man?"

Darry was wearing a nice dark blue long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, with a pair of black slacks and black shiny shoes. He had a black leather jacket slung over his forearm, and a little giftbag in his hand. and he still had his beautiful head of hair. There was grey tastefully glistening around his hairline, beginning to sport the "silver-fox" look.

Candy chuckled and pointed to Dally who was standing behind him, "right there."

"Very funny," Dally said through his raspy voice. His decades of smoking was to blame.

Dally's blonde hair was now white as snow. Wrinkles lined his elvish face, and a joint cracked with every step he took. The muscles that Bri once adored was replaced with sagging skin, and he couldn't see without the use of contacts, which he constantly forgot to take out. It was the only option besides glasses, which he refused to wear.

"You seen Grandpa?" Candy asked, shutting the door behind the two men.

"Your Uncle Pony is bringing him and Uncle John soon," Darry answered. He turned to the kitchen and said, "Bri, dinner smells delicious."

"Thanks, Darry!" Bri answered. She was almost done, so she took the apron off and rolled it up and threw it into a drawer to deal with later. She set some dishes on the large table, with ten place settings.

"Red! Goldie! Come say hi to your Uncles!" Bri called out.

"Coming!" Goldie's voice said back. The two boys running down the stairs sounded like a stampede. Goldie wore a solid, light grey button up shirt tucked into a pair of nice jeans, while Red wore an emerald green shirt and black pants.

"There are my boys, put 'er there," Darry said, giving both of them high-fives. Darry loved the kids, and was always deemed to be the "fun" uncle.
