Luke pov
"Spencer, are you ready we need to head out, I want you to meet my parents today come on" I said as I sat in the bed we shared, just as he walked out the bathroom all ready to go
"I'm ready, stop complaining" he said as he put his shoes on
"Sorry, I'm just nervous that's all" I said
"I'm nervous too, what if your parents hate me or don't think I'm good enough for you" he started babbling on
"Shut it spence" I said as I grabbed my phone, money and keys before heading out locking the door and getting in the car.
"It's Christmas soon, I hope it snows" he said randomly
"I want it to snow too, imagine roxy in the snow" I said
"We could go sledding" he said
"Nope, I'll rather kiss roxy" I said, no one likes to kiss roxy
"Some days I wonder if you love that dog more than you should" he said as he looked at me
"Mmmm" I continued to look at the road
"Well, you find any excuse to kiss her I mean seriously" he said as he laughed
"I love roxy as the way she should be but I love you more okay" I said
"I love you too, roxys pretty close, she loves me more" he said
"No she does not" I said as I looked at him
"Then why does she sleep with me" he asked
"Because you let her then you sleep on me" I said as I faced the road
"Because you're like a literally radiator" he said
"You're an ice cube" I said
"Where are we going" he asked
"An Italian restaurant," I simply replied as I looked for a place to park the car
"I'm nervous, what about if they don't like me" he asked me as we started to get out the car.
" they will love you, you make me happy, so so happy spence"
"Okay" he said as we walked through the restaurant door.
When we walked in I saw my mom and dad sat at the table and we walked over to them.
"Luke, my baby, how are you" my mom said hugging me tightly
"I'm great thanks mom, this is Spencer my boyfriend" I said making a gesture towards Spencer
"Hey" Spencer said with an awkward little wave
"So you're the famous Spencer my little Lukie always talks about, I'm so happy to meet you" my mom said as she wrapped him in a hug he just awkwardly hugged her back
"Hey son" my dad said
"Hey dad" I said as we all took our seats
"So Luke says you two work together and that's how you met when you joined the team Spencer is that true" my mom asked
"Well I was in the team before Luke but I joined Interpol in London and when I came back, I had a few problems but when I came back home from Interpol about a year or so later Luke was there and he helped me overcome things" he said and I placed my hand on his
"So you worked in Interpol in London, that's pretty impressive, honestly I was so proud when Luke joined the FBI and then when he told us about you, we was so happy especially when he said you had moved in together I'm glad he's found someone who makes him happy" his dad said
"Well Luke makes me happy, the happiest I have been in a long time, I'm sorry it took over a year for us to finally meet" Spencer said
"Well we totally understand, Luke said you was still adjusting to moving back to America and obviously like you moved house 2 months ago." My mom said
We spent the rest of meal just talking and eating until it was time to leave, we said our goodbyes and headed back to our house.
