She picked up the dirty water and went to the stove room. She also wanted to wash herself so she boiled a large pot of hot water.

Gu Chunzhu did not dare to bathe the children. The two children were weak and in case they caught a cold, it would be difficult to handle since the ancient times had backward medical skills, but she was different. As a traversal, she couldn't stand this dirty and smelly body of hers.

The Su family was very poor. There was no bath barrel. In addition to the small basin used for washing feet, there was only one large tub for washing clothes and bathing. Gu Chunzhu took off her clothes and sat in the large tub.

Her upper body showing outside, her teeth trembled with cold. She poured hot water on her body before slowly adapting.

The house made of earth walls is not very soundproof. She can hear the sound of two children talking on the bed inside the room.

"Brother, the meat buns are delicious, and the bed feels so soft to sleep on." An An embraced her brother tightly in the quilt muttering with her little milky voice. She got a small "um" word, she continued, "yes if we are obedient. My mother will treat us as well as she does today!"

" I don't know. "Xiaocheng answered dully.

"But our mother is finally like a real mother which makes people very happy." An An almost clapped her hands.

"An An go sleep quickly." Xiao Cheng didn't seem to want to talk about Gu Chunzhu, he interrupted his sister.

Gu Chunzhu heard no more, she groaned. If these two little pitiful children were born in modern times, they must be little princesses and emperors of every family. Fortunately, she came here, she'll definitely treat them well.

While taking a bath and thinking about how to make money, the door of the stove room suddenly opened. A cold wind poured in.

"Ah-" Gu Chunzhu screamed and covered her chest.

A man with wheat-colored skin stood at the door, and heard Gu Chunzhu's screaming, frowning, he still stepped in. He was somewhat limping.

He was carrying a bloody pheasant and several rabbits that were still bouncing in his hands. He placed them beside the water tank by the stove.

"It's me," the man said helplessly.

At this time, there were two sounds of "咚咚" and "下" getting out of bed next to the earth wall. The two children heard the call and ran over. They shouted happily when they saw Su Wangqin, "Father, Father..."

Gu Chunzhu's mind was chaotic when she screamed, but she soon returned to her right mind. Who is the man who came home late at night, it could only be Su Wangqin?

But the most unacceptable thing to her was that her nakedness was seen, although this man was still her physical husband.

Su Wangqin seemed very calm. He turned around and closed the door of the stove room, so as not to show the children such a daunting Gu Chunzhu.

As soon as the door was closed, the two children rushed to him, like little monkeys holding a tree, they both hung on him. Su Wangqin went inside the room holding the two children.

Gu Chunzhu's embarrassed and anxious voice floated over, "I haven't changed my clothes, can you..."

"You wait." Su Wangqin's voice was strong and very serious.

The red blush on Gu Chunzhu's face gradually faded. She shrank her whole person into the large wooden barrel, holding her knees with both hands.

Although embarrassed, she was also reluctant to wear the old owner's old clothes. It seemed that the original owner hadn't changed clothes after being married for six months.

(T/N: Ah gross right )

"Cuck!" Su Wangqin knocked on the closed door of the stove room.

Gu Chunzhu felt better. He just came home and didn't deliberately break in just now. She embraced herself with both hands and wrapped her privacy more strictly. Then she said, "come in."

Su Wangqin knew Gu Chunzhu minded, so he kept his eyes down at his toes, handed the clothes over, and placed Gu Chunzhu's bellyband on top.

Gu Chunzhu's face turned red again. Su Wangqin was a stranger to her, this behavior inevitably made her blush, she yelled, "thank you, you go out first!"

Su Wangqin directly went back, his walk limping. Gu Chunzhu took her clothes to cover the scenery of her chest, and secretly observed him.

Su Wangqin was tall, unfortunately, his leg was broken on the battlefield, and he also has two children, which was a pity.

Gu Chunzhu put on her clothes, lingered in the stove room for a long time, and spent a lot of time overcoming her psychological obstacles before entering the house. When she entered the house, she saw Su Wangqin lying on the bed with An An in his arms. An An was sitting on his stomach and was roaring and cheerful.

"There is still hot water on the stove. Are you going to wash your face?" Gu Chunzhu asked.

"Ok." Su Wangqin put An An back onto the bed and sat up.

Against the background of the oil lamp, Gu Chunzhu saw Su Wangqin's face clearly. The squared face looked particularly fortitude, and the wheat-colored skin added a bit of manliness to him.

His bright eyes also looked at Gu Chunzhu at this moment, as if he had something to say but he went to the stove without saying anything.

"Well, your father is back, go to sleep, and you can play with your father tomorrow." Gu Chunzhu covered An An and Xiao Cheng with a quilt. Her eyes fell on the scratches under An An's collar, presumably Su Wangqin also saw it.

She sat quietly by the bed and watched the two children sleep with their eyes closed.

After the sound of water in the stove stopped for a while, Gu Chunzhu walked through the room.

Su Wangqin was about to blow out the oil lamp in the stove room and saw Gu Chunzhu standing at the door. Gu Chunzhu smiled at him and walked in, saying, "An An, she..."

"An An told me that you bought them meat buns. And also Grain?" Su Wangqin pointed to the 20-pound brown rice at the foot of the wall.

Gu Chunzhu was surprised by Su Wangqin. She was a little moved. The two children were even more immaculate than she thought. "It was just a bun." She told Su Wangqin.

"I sold the silver hairpin." Gu Chunzhu solved Su Wangqin's doubts.

Su Wangqin's bright eyes wavered, he looked at Gu Chunzhu in amazement.

Gu Chunzhu thought, with a firm look in her eyes she said, "I know I didn't treat the children well before, I was lazy and arrogant, but now I want you to know that I am willing to be a mother to the both of them. I am willing to treat them well."

Gu Chunzhu nervously pulled the hem of her clothes. she was afraid that Su Wangqin would find her unusual. She simply said she wanted to change, so if there was a big change in her temper, he would only think that she really had abandoned her bad habits.

When Gu Chunzhu said this, her two eyes shone, and seemed to be glowing. Su Wangqin was almost sucked in without knowing.

He actually thought about these things when he was in the mountains. Gu Chunzu could not bear the two children. He was willing to give her a divorce letter and let her leave but she said it like that, after thinking twice, he decided to trust her once again.

"It's late, go to sleep," Su Wangqin said.

Gu Chunzhu was relieved.
