Every person has a red string(or strings, if it's polymerous) that usually appears on their wrist, finger, or ankle during their kindergarten years(though, not everyone gets a red string during their kindergarten years and rather gets them later in life, which is ok). The strings connect to their soulmate(s), who they'll meet when they feel a tug on the string(s). Along with that, the string(s) can be stretched, bended, or stepped on, and it will still remain in tact. However, the string will turn black or fall apart and disappear if the soulmate loves someone else, the soulmate dies, or if there's communication issues.
