Draco didn't know what to do. He wanted to read Harry's diary, but he of felt like he was infringing on his privacy. Two years ago, Draco would have killed to have a glimpse into Harry's diary, but now he felt uncomfortable doing so. He was conflicted over the matter. He had a feeling that if he did indulge in Harry's secrets, he wouldn't be confronted by some kind of consequence. Draco decided that the best thing to do was to put the diary away and out of sight. Somewhere where he wouldn't be tempted to read it.

Harry had secretly settled into his previous dorm amongst his Gryffindor friends. It felt as if he had never left. He was very surprised that Draco hadn't reported him to professor McGonagall for illegally switching houses, but that was the least of his worries. Harry was far more concerned with the reoccurring dream of him and Draco kissing and engaging in couple's activities. He didn't know how or why this kept happening, but he wanted to put an end to it. However Harry didn't dare tell anyone about these dreams. He knew if people found out it would be detrimental to his image and brand him as "the boy who was gay" rather than "the boy who lived."

It had been three weeks that Draco had Harry's book in his possession, and it was driving him absolutely insane. He couldn't take it anymore. The book seemed to be calling him, luring him into a trap. Finally he caved. It was a Sunday night and Draco had nothing going on. He was bored out of his brains and couldn't think of anything to do. So he thought that it would be entertaining to crack open a good book, which just happened to be Harry's diary. He skimmed through the beginning of the book that didn't have anything that interested him. Mostly just complaints about Ginny and the former dark lord. But something nearer to the end caught his eye. It was his own name.

Dear little brown book of mine,
I've been having some very odd dreams, ones that make me question who I am as a person. Last night I dreamt that I walked down to the black lake to meet Draco Malfoy. And yes this dream does get stranger. When we met we didn't even talk. We just locked eyes and instantly began kissing. I'm not sure if this dream is a sign for anything because I don't ever recall having homosexual feeling towards Malfoy , of all people. But the odd thing is, is that when I wake up I don't seem to hate what had happened....

The sun began to peek out behind the trees as day began to break. The birds started chirping their airy song bringing Harry out of his slumber. Again, as usual, Harry had dreamt of Draco. It seemed as if within each dream the things he and Draco would do became more intimate. Flustered from his dream and frustration Harry got out of bed in search of his diary. He needed to release all his conflicting emotions into paper. He stumbled over to his dresser and opened the middle drawer. He sifted through his shirts and socks in search of the little brown book, but couldn't find it. Harry resorted to tearing apart his dresser, clothes flying everywhere, as he looked for his book of secrets. He searched and looked all over the room in vain. The book was nowhere to be found.

That morning at breakfast Harry commenced to eat his toast with a permanent scowl on his face. He couldn't be bothered by anyone else's problems. He was concerned with the whereabouts of his personal journal, and who could have read it. Knowing that he was not in the best of moods, his friends allowed him to sit alone and contemplate life.

As Harry was about to take another bite of toast, the slice of bread was knocked out of his hand by a small rectangular package, that landed on his plate. Attached to it was a note on a small piece of parchment. Harry removed it and read it...

Wow very nicely written. My favorite was the last entry.
