" You have a meeting with Mr Bennett at 8 to 10, a conference call with the Korean investors, Mr Lee Min and Mr Quan Yee Lin at 11 to 1 pm and lastly a meeting with Mrs Sullivan at 12 to 3"

" Is that all" Denovan asked as he looked out his black SUV.

" Yes sir" his secretary responded.

Cutting the call. He took off his tie and leaned his head on the headrest. He closed his eyes and let himself rest as his driver drove him back home.

He had spent the last three weeks in Spain dealing with one of his newest projects.
He had kept himself busy even though he had enough workers to help. This was mainly because he wanted a destruct himself from thinking of who he didn't want to mention. ( Mia)

Now all the finalities that needed to be sorted out were done and he was going back home which was much to his displeasure.
He could have just gone to one of his many penthouses but he couldn't because of his mother who would be arriving any day.

As the car's speed slowed down. His eyes snapped open knowing they had finally arrived.

Cleo made a mental note to deal with Gracillica later but for now, she had a much more important thing to do.

" Help me carry her," Emily said and Cleo was quick to help. Emily carried her on her back and Cleo grabbed a clean towel and placed it on Mia's wound to stop it from bleeding.

No one seemed worried or even guilty except for Cleo and Emily. They could hear some of them make insulting comments like how dramatic Mia was being while others laughed.

Not minding saying anything. The two girls rushed off to the infirmary. They hurried to the mansion and cursed when they found the back door locked.

" Come on, let's use the front door," Emily said and the two rushed off.
When the two finally reached the front yard. They rushed to the door and entered only to almost bump into Mr De Luca.

" Oh my God!.. sir we are very sorry" Cleo apologized. Donovan on the other hand was about to rash out but stopped when he saw the sleeping figure behind the maid.

It only took him a second to realize who that sleeping form was.
Not wanting to see her or be anywhere near her. Denovan was about to walk away when he saw the bloody towel the other maid was pressing against Mia's head.

In a flash, he was right beside Emily and took Mia out of her hold.
Both Emily and Cleo stared wide eyes as they stood there in a daze but quickly snapped out of it when they saw Mr De Luca already far gone in the infirmary's direction.

It didn't take long but they were in the infirmary and the doctor rushed to them when he saw his boss.
It was rare for Mr De Luca to be seen in the infirmary. He was usually treated in his wing if he was sick or injured.

" Please leave and let me do my work," the doctor said but Denovan gave him a blank look which meant there was no way he was leaving. Emily and Cleo knew their place and hesitantly walked out of the room.
