24. Dinner

The following days, went by too quickly.

Soon the leaves turn brown, and felt down from the trees, the strong winds started to blow harder and the climate became colder.

Donghun found himself looking at Junhee as the other keeps typing on his cellphone, they had being days when neither will say anything

Junhee would be texting or finishing some assignments while Donghun will  just be trying to do all the paperwork and finances for the cafe

The atmosphere had turn a bit less warm after that one night when Donghun found out about Jun's soulmate being back in Korea

And he was too scare to even acknowledge the fact that things had indeed change

"Hey this Friday, the cafe will be going into renovations...so what if we go out somewhere?", Donghun asks as he moves closer to Jun waiting for his reply

"This Friday, yeah! I only have to do a final and then I'm free, let's go to the beach!", Junhee says with a happy smile, he places his phone besides him and with his hands, he  cups Donghun's face

"Is going to be cold sweetie", Donghun says with a frown, "And you get sick really quick, what if I make us dinner and we watch all the anime series you want?", Donghun says as his forehead leans in closing the gap between them

"I will love that", Junhee says in a soft whisper

"You know what I will love...", Donghun says and Jun nods playfully as he pushes his lips to his hyung

The kiss deepens as Donghun carries Junhee to his bed, wanting and needing this beautiful man

To ease his uncertain heart and just feel him melt with him.

Because he feels like he'll vanish away if he doesn't kiss and touch him right now

Friday comes around and he goes grocery shopping to buy the ingredients he needs to make some,
Spaghetti alla puttanesca, he feels like eating an Italian dish. He'll also buy a small chocolate cake since Jun will be sad if he doesn't get dessert

Is going to be fine... he's with me
Tonight we'll have fun

Donghun thinks to himself as he makes his way home and starts preparing everything

Making the pasta is way harder than what he expected but he wants to keep in his patience and actually finish it

Then he sets up the table and places a single red rose on the table, a cute touch along with some candles. He wants a fancy dinner like those that are shown on the romantic movies

Donghun stops looking at the clock, after a few calls he decides to just turn on the TV and he grabs the blanket and cuddles in the couch

Maybe he's having lots of finals?

Donghun thinks to himself.

and soon his mind drifts away into sleep. The food got cold in the counter, the single rose seats lonely on the table and Junhee didn't come back home on this night.

The next morning Donghun feels a bit hurt from the horrible position he slept last night in the couch, after he sees the notification from Junhee's text message he reads it

And as if he could read through the lines, he knows something strange is happening with them and he must  clear everything with Junhee. He needs to be brave and accept whatever needed to be accepted.

Just then as of his mind had being read the door opens and there he is.

Wearing the same clothes, bags under his eyes and messy hair. A faint smile on his face

"Hey Hyung....", Jun greets him an absence in his eyes

"Hi...you okay?" Is all Donghun could reply as he just stays seated in the couch. Jun's eyes fall to the dinning table and sees the set up table that the other prepared for their dinner and on the counter the containers with the food. He looks immediately hurt that his hyung did try to make it look pretty for them. And Junhee.... didn't make it

"Hyung , I'm sorry... something came up and my phone died...sorry", Jun says and he lowers his eyes. Donghun doesn't know what or how to react so all he can do is nod

"ok"

"I just came for a book I forgot, I'll see you at the cafe later", Jun says and he walks closer to Donghun to kiss him good bye

But Donghun just turns his head so the other just gives him akward kiss on the cheek

The other just didn't know what to do, everything just felt odd

"I'll see you later hyung", Junhee says a bit hurt and he leaves the house

Donghun doesn't want to hear an explanation or nothing

He lets himself fall back to the couch

Their honest talk needed to be later.
