Donghun keeps is seating on the table with the other people. The loud music keeps playing and his head is everywhere but not at this space.
All the laughing, drinking, and dancing from the others.
He wishes he could scape.
He takes a look at the girl seating there next to him, her long black straight hair, her fair porcelain skin and adorable laugh. She's perfect. This girl is his soulmate.
His soulmate.
She's what he's being wanting....
He looks at her and feels like crying.
But seeing Junhee tonight had made him feel a thousand more emotions than Yerin can ever do.
"I'm so sorry", he whispers to the girl's ear and this confuses the girl that is looking at him like he's just being weird
"Wait, don't apologise...are you drunk?", Yiren whispers back
"I'm sorry please forgive me", Donghun says and gets up from the spot at the sofa and just rushes out. Not looking back at the confusing girl, the loud atmosphere or anything
All he care at the moment is to find Junhee.
He pulls out his cellphone, finding the contact name that he has being so afraid to call
My Junnie
His hand shakes a little and makes the call.
His heart going out of his chest at the third time he dials because he's not picking up
Did he changed phone?
Am I blocked?
Is he purposely ignoring my call?
But before his mind can play him more tricks, he finally hears his voice
"...Hi", Junhee answers, and Donghun finally sighs
"I need to see you, please..." he begs as he starts to walk towards the sidewalk not knowing where to go from here. His car was still park on the back of the club
"Donghun, I don't think that's a good idea..." Jun replies
"Just please after tonight you don't have to see me, just.... please I'm begging you", Donghun's voice sounds desperate and anxious
Jun stays quiet for a little bit, "I'm at the park that is a block away from my college"
And Donghun sprints there.
He feels that if he's not fast enough. He'll be gone, vanish once again
The cold air brushes harshly against his skin, and his legs are trying their best to be faster at this moment
He soon finds the park and runs across the grass area. And sure thing in the distance he finds a lonely Junhee seating at one of the swings
He gets up at the sight of a heavy breathing tired Donghun that maybe ran three blocks in less than five minutes
"Hyun...." and Donghun pulls him into his arms. His body remembering the fit figure, his smell, his warmth. He just pulls him tighter
Junhee gives up and holds him.
Some minutes go by and soon they pull apart, Donghun hands cup Junhee's face that is also really cold
"Jun...Jun.... you're here", Donghun whispers and the other nods, "I thought you left forever to New York", he says and tries really hard to hold back his tears
"No hyung...Minjae is the one that left", Junhee replies and Donghun steps back slowly trying to give himself some space
Junhee sighs and his hand naturally intertwine with Donghun's
"What are we doing hyung?" his voice sound melancholic
"My mind is just so fuck up right now....but please tell me everything, how do you know about my tattoo? Why aren't you with Minjae?", Donghun moves his other hand and grabs the other hand
Now at this quiet park. Both stay like this as Junhee starts to spill everything he has being holding in his heart
"That night that I told you about me and Minjae seeing one another... remember what I told you...." Junhee says
And Donghun sure remember his words, "That is was frightening staying with someone knowing there's someone better out there"
"That's when I knew, that night I saw the tattoo in your neck....you didn't notice but I sobbed into sleep that night", Jun says now remembering that painful feeling that his boyfriend will eventually meet that someone
"I thought you said it because you were talking about Minjae"
"No, about you.." Jun looks down and swallows back his tears, he then continues, "Since that day I kept telling myself just some more days together with him....and then that night at the cafe when you let me go so that I could be with that man, because for you seeing me with my true love was far more important than your feelings...." and this moment Jun can't hold back the tears
"Oh Jun...." Donghun whispers as he wipes his tears
"I knew how selfish I was...so I agreed the break up....." Jun's tears keep flowing and now Donghun's tears start to fall also, "You always put me first, always...I couldn't do that to you
You deserved to be with the person you had waited all of your life....and Minjae left to New York, my relationship with him is barely at friends, yeah we're connected in a way but not in the heart...not anymore", Jun says and soon lets go of Donghun's hands taking a step back
"Jun...if I had known...", Donghun stays in his place
"That girl, is she?", Jun asks and the other nods, "She's pretty... I truly wish you two all the best and I am so sorry for keeping all of these for this long", and Junhee is ready to take another step away.
But Donghun reaches out for him.
His arm pulling him forward and once again holds him.
"I made you a promise Junhee", he says with a serious tone
"Hyung...."
"That I will be here for you always....I will be yours Junhee....",and he lowers his eyes to meet the loveliest man's eyes, "I don't care for soulmate tattoo or anything, I just care and want you to take me back.... because life without you had being so gray and your the only one that can give me back my sunlight of colors"
Junhee's heart melts.
How can he keep the denying the obvious?
Junhee was so afraid to make the wrong choice, in the end they both just needed to be a bit more honest.
That their hearts belong together. Even if their tattoos didn't match.
A moon and a sunflower, had felt in love.
"Donghun....", Junhee replies, "I will be yours always, because you're my only soulmate"
And after all the loneliness, after all the hardships and after the distance
They finally meet halfway
Both men can't stop crying, and when they finally kiss, the kiss is a sweet and salty
"I missed you so much Donghun", Junhee replies between kisses, "Please, let us never be apart"
And Donghun smiles, the joy to have his lovely man back, is a happiness he can't place into words
"Never again" he replies and continues to shower his lover with soft kisses.
