Cedric hyped us up for the oncoming match. He got us all happy. He said it would be okay if we wouldn't win, and that we should always have each other's backs.

It would be awesome.

We started the match. I couldn't hear any of the cheers, or Lee's commentary, over the rushing and pounding in my head.

I glanced up at Harry circling around, quickly tossing the ball into the goal.

I heard the whistle blow. Hufflepuff was awarded a penalty because George had hit a bludger at Snape.

I got to throw the ball in.

Then we got awarded a penalty for no reason.

I saw Harry begin to dive.

"Ball shot!" Cedric yelled. The crowd silenced, surprise filling the stands as Cedric and I both started diving with Harry.

Harry glanced back at me with confusion filled eyes.

I could hear Oliver Wood cursing and screaming for Harry to dive faster. The Weasley's both launched bludgers in our direction.

I threw the quaffle just before the bludgers hit me.

Gryffindor cheered when the quaffle hit the ground, but gasps filled the stands when it bounced back up, just before Harry's outstretched hand. The snitch was pushed out of the way and Cedric grabbed the golden ball, grinning up at me.

But then his eyes widened when I fell off my broom.

Thankfully, we weren't very high off of the ground.

I started coughing and saw Cedric leaning over me with wide-eyes. Then it was the Stolls, both grinning like maniacs. Soon the Weasley twins joined with the grins. Then I passed out.

I woke up in the medical wing, my chest heavily bandaged but a smile on my face nonetheless. My team were all surrounding me.

Cedric saw me and immediately started lecturing me, "I think you should've kept yourself safe! You should've moved out of the way!"

"I don't know, Diggory," Connor started.

"It was pretty awesome," Travis finished.

Then Cedric lectured them.

I ended up passing out again instead of listening.

Next time I woke up, Hermione was sitting in the chair beside my bed. She was filling in answers on what I assumed to be my homework.

"Hey, 'Mione," I smiled groggily.

"Percy, you're awake!" Hermione chirped, eyes bright. She hugged me and I couldn't help but groan.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," Hermione quickly pulled away, her eyes wide and panic stricken.

"It's okay," I said, shifting in the bed a bit.

Hermione smiled but suddenly looked panicked, "Um... I'm really sorry, Percy, and I know it's really stupid, but the boys can really be dumb sometimes."

I was confused, "Huh?"

"Harry and Ron are mad at you," Hermione said quickly, looking down.

I frowned, "What are they mad for?"

"I'm not entirely sure. They're just mad. I think it's because Hufflepuff won? But that's stupid. They've called you some pretty mean things though. I haven't been talking to them, and Draco nearly beat Ron. So... I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for? Sounds like you're not the one who's mad at me," I smirked, putting my hand on her arm.

Hermione smiled and was about to say something, but I couldn't keep the yawn in any longer.
