Hermione Malfoy Nee Riddle's Granger Family Reunion 😁

Hermione's Point Of View:

"Okay," I said. 

"As you all know I was adopted before I met my real parents. And since I am legally their daughter I unfortunately also share their relatives. Everyone in my family is the description as a snob. They think that the world revolves around them because they are rich."

My children stared at me and I took a deep breath and thought about all the times I had been there.

"So every couple of years there is this family reunion for the Granger's. I am not the biggest fan of this because they didn't exactly like me because I was smart and at that time I loved reading books. A lot. Other than that they used to tease and annoy me to no end. They used to talk about my very frizzy hair, how my teeth weren't proper etc. Because of that, I haven't gone to the Reunion since the summer of 4th year. To them, it is as if money and looks are everything. The Granger Reunion in other words is usually set up for not meeting your relatives but flaunting your money. Now I have gotten another invitation to go there. So I want to know if you guys would like to accompany me to that ruination called Reunion."
 

Caelum looked disgruntled and Scorpius had his brow furrowed. Aquata's eyes were cold as ice.

I looked around and continued, "My dad's side of the family is old money but they look down on my mom because she came from a far more humble background. They look down on me because of the fact that I am adopted. Mix this with the fact that as a kid I preferred my books to their dolls and sweatshirts to their skirts, my cousins didn't quite get along with me. They considered me to be an orphan with no family to speak of and hence assumed I must be a stray that was pitted upon.

"Mum, you are the heir to the Noble House of Slytherin and Lady Potter-Black by blood adoption, Lady Zabini by birth, and Lady Malfoy by marriage." My youngest deadpanned.

"You can practically run a country and still have more than enough left."
Right...Did I forget to mention my biological mother is a Zabini by birth?
I heard a snort from near me and saw my husband and godfather.

I glared at them and then turned towards Caelum and offered, "It's what they think. Now the real question is do you want to go?"

"I think we should go, Mum. Maybe you can surprise them with just how successful you have become. I mean you don't have to prove them anything but, it could be fun, yes?"
said Scorpius with the signature Malfoy smirk.

"Maybe Draco can come later and till then just hold off saying he has work or something like that." Joked Lucius.

I chuckled.

"Where exactly is this Reunion taking place?" 

At this I smirked and handed him the letter to read . His eyes scanned the letter quickly and started laughing.

Draco wore a smile that was all trouble and chimed in,  "It's the Lionne."

At this, everyone started laughing.

"Well," said Cissa "Considering that the hotel was a birthday gift to you from us, I don't think it would be half as bad."

Lucius was reading the letter and said "They think that you don't have anything decent to wear, they truly aren't aware of who you are they tell me, darling, do any of your adoptive relatives know that you are a witch?"

"I am afraid the answer is gonna be a no Godfather." I was smiling though. If they thought they would harm my self-esteem again, they were dead wrong.

"What a shame."

"Indeed." I smirked at this "They won't know what hit them." 

I heard a hissing sound and turned to see Nagini slithering toward me and a genuine smile appeared on my face,

* Hey Nagini, how are you? Is Harry with you or have you come with father*

*Hello sister snake. Master and brother snake are not with me *

And then she proceeded with wrapping herself on Aquata, she really liked her.

 *Sister is going somewhere. Does sister want me to come with her?*
* It's alright Nagini.*

*I will come back with brother snake later.*

She then slithered over to the floo and and hissed Riddle Manor in parsletongue .

I  smiled and said that "Okay go upstairs and pack your clothes and other necessities for the trip. Draco you will come for the last 3 days. Cissa could you see to it that Aquata doesn't pack the entire manor."

Cissa nodded with a smile on her face and she and Lucius walked off with the kids behind them.

I turned towards Draco and sighed "Do you think I can get through this." I asked him.
"I think that you are going to do just fine my dear."
