after my 'talk' with dylan we traded numbers.

i had the biggest smile on my face when i walked into the living room, cause i had the greatest idea

"so the date went well i see"dani said my smile flattened abit "not really BUT i had a great idea, let's have a beach party we haven't had one of them in ages just us it'll be great wait actually we can all invite friends too it'll be perfect, luke an you make the BBQ on the beach for us" 

i was no joke so excited this can be my chance to catch up with dylan we haven't seen each other for half the summer holidays and-

my thoughts were cut off by someone snapping their fingers in my face, i slapped them away 

"did you even hear what i said?" luke asked

"yep you said you'd do it and that i'm perfect and you wish you had my looks. i know if i looked like you i'd think the same thing" i replied jokingly 

they all  laughed then luke said said "i don't know what you're on cause i look exactly like a boy version of you 

i mocked to be hurt and said dramatically with a hand on my heart "how could you insult my beauty like that and i thought you loved me 

luke smiled mischievously "keyword being 'loved' past tense" 

i stood there with my mouth hanging open "luke, darling"i said slowly and softly "i know you try to look like me and fail miserably every day so maybe you should take a few hints from your sister holly on how to fail properly"

"wow you did not just disown me then call me holly's brother" he said 

"wait why do you hate holly so much when you guys were 2-8 you were inseperable then you drifted away" river asked

they all glared at him then dani looked at me in a sort of pity which she knows i hate 

 "well, its not really my place to say but i'll tell you because you know how to keep your mouth shut with serious things, so when we were 7 holly's parents started drifting apart, they argued more and more ao holly stayed over at our house a lot. i told it'll probably blow over and i couldn't have been more wrong, they started avoiding each other holly's mom turned into a stripper at a club and her dad drank a lot of alcohol and started abusing her. Only me Dani and lea knew cause we were all best friends then someone found out about all the abusing and her dad was taken to court he was sentenced 35 years in prison and just when holly needed her mom most her mom walked out on her. she lived by her self then she started avoiding us like the plague she became friends with Lexi and Hannah and that was the end of our friendship."i  concluded

there was an awkward silence well this turned dark all of a sudden

"anyway back to where we were isn't it i'm soo much more better-looking than luke is mason. he hesitated "sure whatever floats your boat "

i pretended to stagger backwards in shock "okay tyrone you agree with me right?"

"of course i do avs " tyrone said 

"now that's how to treat a girl write that down boys the key to a girls heart is love after food obviously food is the first key love is the spare key" i exclaimed 

connor being as dumb as he is, actually wrote it down i had a laughing fit 

connor the reason you've never had a girl is because you make it to obvious that you just hump and dump " i teased

i sighed "lay and  slay is what you try and do get laid then break/slay their heart"i said in a duh tone 

"why not just say lay and break" connor asked

"anyway i'm going to sleep cause were going to make other things too not just burgers "
