*cough*
Hi,
Once again disappeared which isn't surprising, honestly most of the time I forget I've kept this open as a work in progress kinda thing.
Anyways with this whole quarantine thing I'm pretty bored and reading/watching/listening to a lot of stuff so why not.

So not gonna lie I binge read all 39 chapters of this manga just today, as in I found about it and read through all of it at like 6 am.

Maybe it's because I read it in one day but it's honestly kinda bothering me? As in the way of looking at life or emotions/relationships in general from the manga has been on my mind, which isn't too surprising since I did just read it after all.

So sachi-iro no one room is basically about this girl who's kidnapped, yet stays with her captor out of free will. And no, it isn't Stockholm syndrome either which makes it even more interesting.

I'm not sure how to avoid spoilers exactly but it appears right away, this girl, XXX, was abused by her parents, teachers and classmates

I'm not sure how to avoid spoilers exactly but it appears right away, this girl, XXX, was abused by her parents, teachers and classmates. Overtime warping her and her sense of reality pretty badly. Because of this, who she calls "Mr. Stalker"/"mister" is a 180° change because he doesn't intend to hurt her. He lets her eat good food, talks to her and for the most part let's her do whatever she wants. It doesn't take long until she says something along the lines of "name me, I don't want to be XXX anymore" as her life until then was filled with misery and hurt. Mister agrees and from then on she is Sachi, a word meaning happiness.

This manga is sooooo good, the art is amazing and so is the story of course

This manga is sooooo good, the art is amazing and so is the story of course. There's a good amount of twists too so it never feels boring with a repetitive captor-victim trope. Maybe it's because I read it on four hours of sleep but as I somewhat mentioned, it kinda makes you think. Like the kind of weird scenario that normally is terrible but as you find out the details somehow becomes more reasonable in your mind. I watched an anime a while ago that did the same thing with a pretty similar concept of an unordinary captor-victim relationship too, I'll probably review that anime as well but I felt like talking about this manga first.

Overall I feel this is a great manga, and I hope it'll get an anime eventually!

It does have some live action drama I think? Which is definitely a unique route, I haven't watched it yet but I probably will soon.
