Y/n POV

I looked at the spread map with the other commanders.

Mathew: they're coming straight at us from the front. We can hit them hard, but it seems they have aircraft carries and heavy cruisers. A lot of siren heavy cruisers. Does anyone have any ideas? If not, they'll easily over power any defense we try to hold up

The commanders in the room started staring various ways we could combat them as I looked at the map.

Then I spoke up.

Y/n: pirate tactics?

Commander Jacob: I'm sorry

Y/n: pirate tactics. We have a diversion, have our bigger stuff up front while 5 total team spread out. 2 from the left and 2 from the right. Then the final team will take them from behind

Commander Eve: but if we have our strong stuff in the front, what's the point?

Y/n: I remember a saying from a man named Nynaeve. "Wether the bear beats the wolf or the wolf beats the bear, the rabbit always loses". Those small fleets are our "rabbits" and they won't win, head on at least. We are simply as distraction as our bear takes down the wolf. We hit them hard and fast, and never stop moving

Mathew: then who will be these teams?

I looked at a few trust worthy commanders.

Y/n: Commander Patrick and Commander Summer will have their fleets take the left. Commander Adam and Commander Julie will take the right. I can lead Commander June's fleet, with her help of course, to take their behinds

Mathew: and are you sure it will work?

Y/n: not sure, but as you said. We'll be over powered if we only fight head on

He smiled and nodded.

Mathew: I did say that. And you are a good strategist. Ok, right. Commanders who Caption Y/n mentioned, prepare you fleet to take their flanks. Caption Y/n and Commander June, prepare to take get to their behinds and the rest of you prepare for your ships to take a beating

Time skip

I looked at the others as we moved quickly across the ocean, to ambush them.

I saw Patrick's and Summer's fleets break off from ours as we pasts the enemies left side, before taking cover to wait for the signal.

We then started to circle around as we neared the end of the fleet.

As we got to the back, I summoned my sails, raising a black flag with a skull on it.

I unsheathed my sword and gun, seeing a blue glow surround the sword.

I raised it to the air before plunging it into the water, causing a massive waves to engulf the few boats at the back.

Y/n: attack!!!!

We then rushed forward, weapons and guns ready.

I started with one ship, blowing through the top with cannons before firing a bullet at the ammo reserves inside.

Before I knew what was going to happen to that ship though, I was already attacking the next one, blowing holes into its hull.

I I saw ships start to blow up from all sides of the fleet, seeing my plan was working.

But we didn't stop, still fighting to protect our home from the sirens.

As we kept going, we started cutting through them like butter, as we we're faster.

I jumped onto another siren ship, blowing a hole straight through it and jumping to the next.

I saw planes rise from the middle of the fleet, but we shot down but interceptors from Enterprise and other carries of our.

As I fought, I then had to dodge away from a barrage of bullets, aimed only at me.

I looked up, seeing a white haired fox girl.

She was growling and I raised my gun.

Y/n: name?

???: what's it to you?!

She spoke with venom in her voice.

Y/n: well, I do like to know the names of my enemies before I defeat them

I saw her smirk.

I took out a cigar, lighting it as stuff blew up around us.

I fired and she dodged, before she started to flee.

I saw a few other ship girls flee after her and I saw Enterprise take aim.

She looked at me confused.

Y/n: let them run. It'll spread the message of what Azur lane is capable of. Plus, I have my own thing I need to do

I opened my sails, heading after them.

I watched as he followed the Sakura empire girls.
