[Shawn's POV]

" How do you make this look so easy?" Camila asks frustrated, which makes me laugh.

I'm teaching her some chords at the piano but she's having a hard time getting it. We're sitting side by side at the piano I have on my apartment as she tries to repeat what I show her. This method is not really working so I decide to go for another approach. I put my hands on her waist and pull her to sit between my legs, so then I can guide her hands with mine on the keys.

" See? You're playing, it's easy." I say as I guide her hands to play 'twinkle twinkle little star'. " Now try it on your own."

She takes a deep breath like she's preparing for a hard task. Her fingers start to move in the piano and she gets a few notes right but the rest is a disaster.

" Urgh! I suck at this." She says laughing.

" It takes time but if you keep trying you get it eventually." I say trying to encourage her.

I play with my hands on top of hers again and this time when she tries on her own she only gets a couple of notes wrong.

" That was so much better." I say surprised.

I can see she's smiling and then she keeps trying again until she gets all the notes right. She gets so happy for being able to play all the notes correctly and then insistes for me to teach her another song. I'm guiding her hands through the keys forming the melody to 'happy birthday' as I hear the front door open.

" You guys are too cute for your own good." I hear Julia's voice. " You never did that to me, baby."

" That's because you already play the piano." Niall says taking off his shoes.

I feel Camila lean back on my chest as I wrap my arms around her.

" I do. But that's not the point here." Julia says as they both go to Niall's room.

Camila and I laugh at them while I keep holding her. She says she had enough learning for today and asks me playing a song for her other than the silly ones we were just playing. I remember our first date and how she sang along to 'Every little thing she does is magic' in my car, so I decide that's good choice. I kiss her cheek and she keeps her back rested on my chest as I play the first chords.

" Though I've tried before to tell her
of the feelings I have for her in my heart..." I start to sing the lyrics in her ear.

I keep singing the first verse until she joins me in the chorus, and her voice it's honestly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. When it's time for the bridge of the song she stops singing, I don't know if it's because she doesn't know the lyrics or because she wants to hear me. I don't think it's the first one since I remember clearly her singing it that day in the car, so I continue with the lyrics by myself.

" I resolve to call her up
  a thousand times a day
and ask her if she'll marry me
  in some old fashioned way…"

She sings the last chorus with me and after the song ends we stay quiet for awhile.

" Wow." She says turning her head around to kiss my shoulder.

" If the painting thing doesn't work you could always try music." I say making her laugh.

" Since you taught me something in the piano I should show you how to paint something." She says smiling at me.

" Trust me, baby. That would be a disaster, I can't even draw a heart. But I would be happy to watch." I say before kissing her.

I hear the doorbell ring and I don't have to look to know who it is. My mom wanted to take me out for dinner with my dad, she thinks we can still have some type of relationship even though all he does when we meet up is tell me how I'm ruining my life. I hate going in those type of dinners but today is my mother's birthday so I want to make her happy. I asked Camila to come with me but my parents didn't know, they didn't even know I have a girlfriend.
