Kanao Tsuyuri

I chased Tanjiro back to his dorm, calling out his name multiple times but he wouldn't stop running.

When I arrived at the dorm, the door was unlocked so I went in. It was silent, Inosuke and Zenitsu were probably in bed already. I crept into Tanjiro's room silently. When I entered the room, Tanjiro was on edge, he was sitting on the side of the bed in a disheveled heap, his gut-wrenching sobs of grief tore through my chest, of course it hurts me seeing him cry. I felt guilty.

"Tanjiro.?"

He jolted and turned around.

"Kanao..what we had was beyond special..it was intimate. Why would you cheat on me, after all I did for you. I.." He wiped his cheeks every few seconds.

I was left aghast. Even I wasn't sure why I cheated on him..

"As much as I still love you, please just leave me alone. I..I don't want to see your face again.."

Tanjiro Kamado

I expected Kanao to at least say something, an apology or an argument to defend herself but she left. She just left.

That was it. We've..broken up. My bottom lip quivered at the thought, after all the time and effort we spent on each other, wasted.

More thoughts whirred into my head, an onslaught of tears coursed down my cheeks. I just couldn't stop the tears from flowing. I'm skipping classes tomorrow, but I have to let my professors know, I'll just say I have a high fever. After I texted my profs I stared at the ceiling and cried till I drifted off to sleep.

Next morning

Inosuke Hashibira

"ZENITSU!!!ZENITSU!! GET UP, WE FORGOTTEN TO SHOP FOR BREAKFAST YESTERDAY. THE FRIDGE IS FUCKING EMPTY I AM STARVING!!" I yelled and punched Zenitsu who was still asleep.

"INOSUKE IF YOU DONT SHUT UP THIS INSTANT I WILL GAUGE OUT YOUR EYEBALLS AND BOIL THEM!!"

"Honestly, what the hell is wrong with you are you a psychopath??" I rolled Zenitsu into a sausage with the blanket and hauled him onto the ground with a loud thud.

"OW WHAT THE HELL??!? YOURE the psychopath! Who wakes up 2 hours before class starts and throws their friend onto the ground??" Zenitsu struggled to get up.

"Whatever I'm just gonna shower." I yawned and went to the bathroom.

Timeskip

"Zenitsu, let's go and grab coffee before heading to classes, I think Tanjiro left already."

"Hmm yeah, sure."

Me and Zenitsu walked to the cafe we passed by yesterday. A flyer?

"Zenitsu! Look." I pointed at the flyer.

"Huh..? It says that they're hiring..and there's 4 more slots left," Zenitsu translated the words

"Hey! I've got an idea. We could all work here for extra money. Plus it'll be easy since all of us learned a bit of Korean before we came here."

"You and Tanjiro can't read or speak Korean as a matter of fact. EaSy My AsS."

"Well that is true but people that come here are mostly students! Can't you see?? And I bet, that they know how to speak English.

"Uhm..are you both gonna head in or no?" A girl asked.

"Yeah yea we are." I dragged Zenitsu into the cafe with me. We lined up until it was out turn to order.
