chapter twelve ;; preparation

Sabay sabay nila tiningnan ang phone nila and, they looked.. weird. Mixed expressions. Masaya, disgusted, shock.

"Ano 'yan?" tanong ko sakanila. Tumili si Flora, while the others groaned. Flora replies, "Ball! Isang ball!" tiling-tili ni Flora. Atlas stratched the nape of his neck and said, "Well.. It's like a welcome ball—thing. It kinda sucks, if you ask me."

Flora pushed everyone inside, screaming, "MAMATAY NA NAGTANONG HA. AKO GUSTO KO NG BALL." Umirap si Sky, "Flora, lahat ng ball namin, nandon ka. Hindi ka pa ba sawa?"

Aria started, "Well.. It's been eight years since the last one.. And nine and ten palang tayo no'n. Ngayong teens na tayo, iba na. Hindi na child-like parties tulad ng dati, tas 'yung mismong ball nandon sa mismong labas at hindi tayo pwede mag-participate." Frost nodded to Aria's statement.

Ulol, mag-jowa talaga 'tong dalawang 'to. "Sana all may jowa." I pouted. "I just don't like it. Imagine socializing." irap ni Phantom. Kinatok ko ulo ni Phantom, "Imaginin mo hari ka sa future tas nahihiya ka sa harap ng tao."

He reacted with an 'ow!' as everyone continued their day as usual. The girls and I were in Flora's room was full of gardening decor, heck, pati 'yung kwarto niya nakadirekta sa araw. Nagpho-photosynthesis ba 'to?

Tumili siya ng malakas, "Soooo!" she shouted. I groaned, "Nakarindi ka ghorl." after I said that, tumili pa siya ng malakas. I blinked a few times, "I stand corrected."

"Son doroting." reply ni Aria, giggling a bit. Natawa kami ni Skyrie slight pero nainis na 'din si Flora. "Ano susuutin niyo? It's on Wednesday! and it's monday today!" tili ni Flora. "Damit, duuh." reply ni Skyrie.

"Mag-shopping tayo bukas! Mahal tayo ni Mea dear, papayagan niya tayo!" she announced. "Excited na ako!!"

"I'm excited din but.. Satingin mo may mahahanap tayong maayos ngayon? Ayoko kumuha ng gown sa mga damit ko. Alam mo naman mga gown ko. Pinakamaayos ko na was 'yung duon sa dinner with Lee's family." Aria responded. Skyrie shortly replied with a small 'same' as she scrolls through her feed.

"Sino magiging partner niyo, if ever?" I ask, laying down sa kama ni Flora.

"Kuya mo kapartner ko." Flora said. May crush ba 'to sa kuya ko? I'm not complaining, but oh well.

"Uhm.." Aria paused. "Si Frost.. parati naman kaming partner sa mga projects, I'm betting pati dito kami nalang." after she was done, she mumbled, "sana ako nalang hehe." we heard that.

Skyrie thought for a while, "Si Kyle. I think. Siya naman elite ko so, given na." Ah, 'yung lalaki na kasama nila Phantom kanina, I think. Isa don. Lahat sila tumingin sakin, "Ikaw, Angelee? Sino sa'yo?" Skyrie asked.

"Well sino nga ba? Wala pa akong elite, plus lahat ata ng mga kakilala kong lalaki, taken na. Pati mga boys, taken na." I sighed.

Ayoko ring i-bother si Aibriel. Mukhang madami namang chicks 'yung lalaking 'yun e.

"Who said taken si Atlas?" they all winked and nudged. Umirap ako, "Atlas is not my type. I want a dreamy person. 'yung tipo na kahit anong gawin niya, titibok at titibok puso ko dahil d'on." I said.

"Atlas is dreamy. Why not? Binigyan ka ng bag, binigyan ka ng cellphone, nag-date pa kayo!" sabi ni Skyrie.

I blushed slightly, "It's not a date, okay?! Naglaka—" I cutted myself off, kasi pa'no nila nalaman?! "HOY PANO NIYO NALAMAN?" sigaw ko sakanila, threatening them with a pillow.
