It was New Years Eve and everyone was hanging out at Zabini Manor. There was Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Ronald Weasley, the twins: Blaise Zabini and Hermione Zabini, Draco Malfoy, and Pansy Parkinson. The Slytherins and Gryffindors were having a party. They played games like Truth of Dare, Kiss MArry Avada Kedavra, clue, Twister, Monopoly, etc. There was food. When it was 11:45, the girls went into a separate room to decide who their New Years kiss was going to be. Ginny was going to kiss Blaise. Pansy was going to kiss Draco. Luna was going to kiss Neville. And Hermione was not going to kiss anyone. The time came for the fireworks to start and everyone got ready to kiss. Things did not go according to plan though. Apparently, Pansy had decided to trick Hermine into kissing Draco. Pansy kissed Ron. Neville and Luna kissed. Ginny and Blaise kissed. Draco unexpectedly wrapped his arms around Hermione and kissed her. She melted into the kiss, unaware she was doing so. Even after they were aware that everyone was watching, the kissed. When they pulled apart, The stood there staring into each others eyes and in that moment, everything seemed perfect: fireworks in the background as well and Pansy telling
"YOU ALL OWE ME 20 GALLEONS" Draco and Hermione sat and watched the fireworks till 2am. They got too tired to watch the rest of the fireworks. Everyone else was asleep. Luna's head was on top of Neville's chest and they were holding hands on the fuzzy carpet. . Ginny was curled up in blaises arms on the couch. Ron was sleeping against a wall with Pansy laying on his lap. Hermione didn't even care when Draco crawled into bed with her and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him.
