Draco's POV
I was flying on my Nimbus 2001 that my father bought the entire team. I was about to catch the snitch but Pothead was also going after it. That quidditch game changed my life. As looked over at the gryffindor stands, I saw the only thing that was worth looking over for. The cute bushy haired gryffindor looked over at me and smiled. But that is not the reason that this quidditch game changed my life. This is why. As I was reaching for the snitch, Pothead came up to me and said
"I saw that"
"Sawe what Pottah"
"You. You just looked over at Hermione and smiled"
"Got a problem with that?"
"I jus-"
"Yes we are best friends. Yes, she knows i never meant to hurt her. I just have to pretend to hate her, and she has to pretend to hate me. And Yes I like her. A lot-" My eyes widened in realization of what i just said. I had just confessed my feelings for Hermione to one of her best friends,. Who hates me.
"No that's - just -" Potter looked at me in shock.
"You like her?"
"Yes. And it's about time i told her" I decided. Gryffindor ended up winning the game, but i didn't care. I was too nervous. After the game i pulled hermione aside. Here is where it gets interesting.
"Listen Hermione, before you say anything..." I started
"What happened? Draco..."
But before she could get an answer, I grabbed her face and pulled it closer to mine so are lips were touching. I kissed her for like a minute, before she broke apart.
"Draco........." She struggled with words
"I love you Hermione. I always have and always will." I confessed
"I love you too Draco" She said before kissing me again.
Now, all thanks to Potter for helping me decide to tell her, we are married for 5 years and we have two children, Ari Rose Malfoy, and Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy who are twins, and one more on the way. I love you 'mione. Thank you for 5 happy years of marriage.
