I awoke to a sleeping Simmons snuggled up against my breast and I couldn't help but smile. I liked it here. It was warm. Probably from Jemma but still i like it here.
Then I notice out of the corner of my eye her eyes open. "Morning." I said.
Her cheeks became the brightest shade of red I have ever seen as she jerked her head up.
"I'm sorry..." She stammered.
"It's cool. Not a whole lot of space here so I understand." I said. I kind of liked it to be honest but she doesn't need to know that. Yet.
"Well we should be setting up a camp who knows where we are or how long we're going to be here."
I simply nodded my head in confirmation and we went to work.
"You know for someone who never leaves her laptop you sure know what you're doing."
"When I was younger I was a girl scout. Kind of lame and chessy I know but I learned a lot." I replied as I layer the final log down.
"We make a good team." She said wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"Yeah." I chuckled. Yeah.
