Chapter 12: Apologies

(Y/N) POV

I have Tom a nervous smile as he looked at me in disbelief.
Suddenly I can't take the silence anymore.
I wrapped my arms around Tom and started to cry.
"I-I'm so s-sorry Thomas! I should have t-tried to stop Tord!" I sobbed into his chest.
"It's okay." He said quietly, rubbing my back as I cried.
"Why don't you come inside?" He asked.
I pulled away from him and said, "What about Edd and Matt? They won't want me here."
"Yes they will." Tom grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside.
"Hey Edd? Pause your show. Someone came by for a visit." Tom said.
Edd paused the The Children and turned around to look at me.
A look of anger crossed his face as he looked at me.
"What are you doing back here?" He said quietly, anger written across his face.
I whimpered a little as he gave me a look of disgust.
"What? Are you scared?" He asked. "Well you should be. You destroyed our house. You and Tord should have died."
"I-I'm sorry Edd." I said as tears started to dream down my face.
Matt looked at me with no emotion and said quietly, "Just leave (Y/N)."
I pulled away from Tom and said quietly, "I-I just thought I'd say sorry."
"Well its too late." Edd said harshly.
I walked to the door. There were tears streaming down my face.
"Good bye, old friends." I said as I walked out the door.
"(Y/N)! Wait!" I heard Tom call as I ran away from the house.
I could feel the tears burning my face as I ran down the street.
I just wanted to say sorry. I thought as I stopped running and put my back to a tree.
I picked my phone and called Paul.
"Hello?" He said.
"P-Paul, please come pick me up. I'm at the park." I sobbed.
"Okay. Do you want me to bring Tord?" He asked.
"N-no!" I almost shouted.
"Okay okay. Just calm down. I'm coming to get you." He said reassuringly.
