"Woahhh how chic!" Zaru complimented with a smile.

I rolled my eyes but inside i was pretty happy with that compliment. My heart heated up, I felt like my old self again. When nothing was wrong 10 years ago. Well except for one thing, but I was momentarily happy.

"Yeah yeah whatever. Anyway what're you doing here Nia? I mean this place doesn't-" I asked but got cut off.

"I told you so!"

"Hawk and I will look for a doctor in the village. Lady Diane can you-" A girl with greyish-green hair and blue eyes said.

A girl and a pig was approaching us. How troublesome. She looks so so similar to this little girl i knew long time ago. I looked at her, tilting my head, trying to configure her identity. Her blue earring shone, reflecting the light that was shone upon it. Hold on...thats Elizabeth? Wow she has grown...a lot. And she came with...Hawk? I dont even think Hawk remembers me...

"I'll be the one to save captain!" Diane turns around to look at the duo. Her eyes green with envy, eyebrows furrowed, embodying her sin. Diane showed a clear distaste for Elizabeth, she probably thinks Meliodas is trying to with the princess. Oh Diane..

"Okay, okay lets not fight here...not a good idea to create a ruckus hmm?" I suggested, obviously not wanting to have a fight over a stupid live triangle.

"Excuse me, but who are you?" Elizabeth asks in a polite manner.

"You don't remember me? Well to be fair, we did met like soooooo long ago so i guess i can give you a pass..." I said nonchalantly. Couldn't blame her, we did only interact wayyy back then. No way a human like her could remember that.

"You- ELVIRA?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Hawk screeches.

"Oh you remember me?! What a shocker. And i guess i should be asking you the same thing." I stated, with a smirk on my face.

I started walking away, I didnt want to waste anymore time talking to them. Zaru looks at me inquisitively, as if hesistating to ask a question.

"You're not gonna say 'Lets Go!' or something like that?" Zaru questioned, still sitting happily on my shoulder.

"You just gonna stand there or...? If you want to save his life we better get going. Im sensing a threat is coming." I thoughtfully concluded.

It's no lie that the Holy Knights in Baste Prison would sense our magical power by now. If we dont go anytime soon they'll be on our asses in a matter of minutes. They started catching up to me. I smiled, knowing that they actually listened.

We walked tirelessly to Doctor Dana's clinic. Elizabeth and Hawk trailing behind, having their own conversation. I got tired of walking so i tried to fly, and what do you know? First try winner. I flew up to Diane's height. Her eyes widened, mouth agape.

"Eh? Since when could you do that? Don't recall you doing that." Diane asked, amazed at my new capabilities.

"Few moments ago. Met a weird friend and she gave me these powers. Now I can fly and heal!" I exclaimed, strking a cool pose.

Diane giggled as i laughed heartedly. Zaru rolled his eyes, cringing at my attempt to look cool. Soon enough, we arrived at Doctor Dana's clinic. Elizabeth, Hawk and I went in, the bells on the door chimed signifying our arrival.

"Oh? Elvira? What are you doing here?" Dana asked.

"My friend here is badly injured, think you can take care of that? Of course you can! Now dont try anything dumb...I'm watching ya. Oh and let these two see him too please, I'm afraid they'll have some sort of withdrawal symptoms." I giggled at the snarky remark i made.

Dana nodded and took Meliodas from Hawk's back. He carried him up to one of the rooms as Hawk and Elizabeth trailed along. As soon as i see their silhouettes dissappear, i exited the clinic. I started walking away.

"Lia! Where are you going?" Diane questioned me.

"Wherever my feet bring me to," I answered as i walked away.

"You're not leaving again are you? Cap'n wanted to bring you along with us..." Diane explained, her eyes glossed with tears nearly falling.

I stopped in my tracks, as though i got caught for a sin I committed.

"I-Me leaving or not doesn't matter. Why are you guys here anyway?"

"Cap'n wanted to recruit Ban and King back...and Baste Prison was the closest from us." Diane stated as carefully as possible.

"Ban..."

Thats when it hit. I used to be madly in love with him. Those feelings faded away with time, thanks to the 10 years of hiding. I thought I finally forgot about him, but the memories hit me like a truck. From being crazy about him and talking about him to Diane, to crying at night wondering was i not good enough for him to like me. I'm very positive that i do not like him any more, but the memories still hurt. Tears welled up in my eyes at those memories, I guess thats the curse for my sin. The tears fell beautifully, one by one, giving each tear a chance to glisten under the afternoon sun.

"Lia...Are you alright? I knew i shouldn't have mentioned Ban...Im so sorry." Diane said apologetically.

"I-It's fine...just bad memories." I dismissed.

She placed me onto her hand and stroked my head with her finger, consoling me. My head hung low, face puffy from the tears. I wasn't crying, no sobs were being let out. Tears just fell from my face over and over.

"What am i doing? This isn't me? At least..not the one i want to be. Crying over a man that didn't return your feelings a decade ago? What are you? A clown? Can't believe you're affected by this." My mind whispered to me.

My tears came to a halt. I gathered myself, wiping any tears left with the torn sleeve of my jacket.

"Do you have a mirror?" I asked.

Diane brought me up to a window of Dana's ward. My face was red a puffy. Eyes were puffy too, evident of the crying i had just done. I looked like a mess. I took a few deep breathes.

"Well, you want to find Ban right? I'll go." I decided.

"Wait really? We'll go together when Cap'n-"

"I'm going now, alone. Come on Zaru." I said as Zaru hopped onto my shoulder.

"Are you sure you can do this? Theres about four holy knights in there...and you were just an emotional wreck!" Diane exclaimed full of worry.

"They're just holy knights...You take care of Cap'n and those 2. If I linger here any longer they'll come to us instead. I'll do it quick and easy. Diane, I love you. Please let me do this even if it's useless." I sternly said.

Once i used Diane's actual name, she knew i wasn't in a gaming mood. I knew Diane wouldn't want me to go, but this was the best way to carry out this "mission". Her worried eyes looked at me and nodded, she still trusted my judgement no matter how dumb it was.
