We trekked through the realm, the soles of our shoes clacking with every step. The realm was hazy. For a capital of the dead, there was not much souls here. The only one we saw was that girl, and it wasn't even clear. We walked aimlessly, randomly turning left or right, I mean, we had no lead on where they are.
"They're no where." Diane complained.
"Maybe they've gone back go the real world?" Hawk suggested.
"No, no, it'll be too soon for that." I declined.
I glanced down at Zaru, who was chatting with Meliodas. It's a sight to see, since he usually keeps to himself, and only talks to a few people that he feels are "passable". I'm guessing he likes this company. What a social butterfly.
We walked a few steps more and were met by another pair of shoes. Zaru, Hawk and Elizabeth gulped. Elizabeth clung onto Meliodas in fear. Damn it, Holy Knights getting in our way.
"How do you do, Meliodas the Dragon sin? Diane the Serpents Sin? And Elvira the Swan's sin? My name is Holy Knight Guila." Guila greeted.
"Look, kid. You don't meddle with my business and I won't meddle with yours. Got it?" I declared, boy was i not in the mood to fight someone.
Guila yield her rapier, blowing Zaru, Hawk and Elizabeth away. She's a stubborn one.
"Zaru and Hawk, bring Elizabeth as far away here as possible." Meliodas instructed.
The three ran away. Me, Diane and Meliodas stood there, not a single sound made. No one was moving. God am i getting bored.
"Alright kid. I'm not gonna ask you again. You better get away from out business or-" Thump. A kick in the gut flew me off the ground. My back came in contact with a large crystal. How have i not broken my back yet? Meliodas came flying after me, landing in the same crater i made. Elizabeth and Hawk screamed. I look down to see the three right below us.
"What are you guys doing here? Zaru, bring them somewhere to hide!" I instructed as Meliodas grunted at the impact.
Diane came flying towards us, and it looked like she was about to land on a sharp crystal. Meliodas and I leaped down to the ground in the nick of time. We supported her back as we stood on some crystals. Not to be mean, but she was as heavy as what you'd think a giant would weigh.
"You're awfully heavy." Meliodas commented
"Yeah, you put on some pounds while we're gone?" I teased.
"You guys are mean." Diane scoffed.
Guila walked up to us, rapier still in her hands. I wanted to punch that damn grin she had on her face like a punching bag.
"Diane the Serpent sin. You're the strongest of the sins in terms of physical strength." Guila said.
She then continued blabbering about somethings about Giants like some fucking encyclopedia. This girl would be a bore to be with.
"Sand whirl!" Diane shouted, her hands in a position on the crystal floor.
Guila sunk beneath the sand that was previously crystal. Swallowed by the grains, she was gone. I guess i spoke too soon. She shot up into the sky like a firework. Diane broke off a crystal and launched it at her. The crystal exploded upon the touch of Guila's rapier. What the hell? Meliodas took the chance and attacked Guila from behind. Guila defended herself against Meliodas' forearm with her rapier. Meliodas is going easy on her.
"Meliodas, legendary captain of the Eight Deadly Sins. Your might does seem to be a real thing! It is odd though. Why don't you use your sword?" Guila taunted.
