TW: Abandonment, Car Accident, Death

April 10th, 20XX: 7th Grade

"We're on vacation, I don't know, I don't care, go to the parks or something, just leave us alone." Their mother shooed, "And take Deceit with you!"

"Yeah alright, come on D." Tempest held their room door open for her brothers to walk out of. Deceit's family was on a trip to Disney World, and his parent's clearly just wanted to get the kids out of their hair. They were staying in the Cars section of the Art of Animation resort.

"Hey T." Arrow addressed his younger sister, "Can we buy stuff with these bands?" He showcased his green magic band as the three walked out of the building.

"Don't know." She shrugged.

"It charges to the room, mom said it was fine if we got stuff, just don't spend too much." Deceit informed.

"Ah alright, which park are we going to?"

"Animal kingdom."

"Right."

You might think these kids have unusual names. Well they do. The oldest is named Arrow, he's in college, the next is Tempest, she's a highschool senior, and the last is Deceit, he's only in 7th grade. These three aren't huge fans of their names, so they usually just call each other by the first letter, hence T and D.

As they went about going on rides and such at animal kingdom, Deceit couldn't help but feel a little left out. Of course he and his siblings care about each other and all, but due to the age difference, they weren't very close. He made the best of it however and tried to enjoy himself, although at times he thought his brother and sister forgot he was there.

In fact, while in line for the dinosaur ride, he was positive they forgot about him. Because they told the cast member it was just the two of them, so he went on as a single rider and they were separated. The three were still in the same car, but Deceit ended up sitting in the back next to another boy and his parents. The only thing about the boy that Deceit couldn't help but notice were the pink highlights in his hair. Oh, and how terrified he was on the ride.

Deceit didn't find the ride scary at all. Just a dinosaur here and a dinosaur there, oh one of them is trying to eat us? Oh well, big deal.

He had to remind Arrow and Tempest that he was still there. They apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. Like hell it won't.

Well they had fun at animal kingdom and once it got dark, they figured their parents wouldn't mind having them back at the hotel. On the way out, Deceit noticed how they passed the pink hair boy. He was clearly mesmerized by the Tree of Life's light show. Good for him. Deceit kept walking. Eventually they got back to the resort and found their parent's door was locked, so they didn't even try to get in. They had all they needed in the rest of the room after all. A kitchen, tv, and a bathroom. Deceit and Arrow shared the table bed and Tempest got the pull out to herself.

The next day they decided to go to Magic Kingdom, even though Deceit wanted to go to Hollywood Studios and leave the biggest park for last. But whatever. Not like his opinion matters.

On the bus there, Deceit ended up seeing the pink hair boy. Sitting across from him. And it was clear the boy remembered him too, they spent a lot of time awkwardly staring at each other back and forth when the other would look away. Once they arrived, Deceit's siblings had already decided to go to Tomorrowland first.

"We should go on space mountain first." Tempest suggested as they entered Tomorrowland.

"I have to go to the bathroom." Deceit interjected.
