Ch6 Dinner

You quickly got ready and took a taxi to the hotel.

Jotaro waved to you from the window and gestured for you to come up.

Once you got to the room Jotaro opened the door looking a little disheveled,

"Woah woah! Ok cowboy! Let me help you out!" You laugh and pat his shoulder as you try to find Jolyne.

There she was! She had her dress on upside down...phew time to get to work!

"Oooh Jojo~" you called out to her, she ran over to you and jumped up and down,

"Pretty pretty!! Help me pleaaassee! My daddy doesn't know girl style! I want you to dress me!" Jolyne got into the habit of calling you 'pretty' since your name was a little hard for her to say,

"Haha yeah your daddy doesn't know girl fashion as well as he thinks! But don't get me wrong! Your daddy is very stylish and good looking! So lets see the dresses you want to wear Jojo!" You turn and wink to Jotaro, he sends you a nod and takes his leave to get himself ready.

Jolyne led you to her bed where she had laid out some clothes that she wanted to wear,

"Ooo quite the selection! Ok well first! Let's get that dress off of you!" You giggle, dressing Jolyne was easy combing and styling her hair was easy.

"Make up!" Jolyne said,

"Oh no no no! Sorry honey you're much too young for that!" You say and fix her bangs a bit,

"Aww but I want to be pretty like you!!" Jolyne pouted,

"Jolyne....listen, you're beautiful right now, I don't think you need that at all! Maybe when you're older then we can do each other's makeup! Just for fun! What do you say?" You smile,

"Hmm promise?!" Jolyne held her pinky out to you, you inter lock your pinky with hers,

"Promise!" You nod, Jotaro adjusts his jacket,

"You girls ready?" Jotaro said with a slight smile from watching your little interaction.

"Yes! Shall we go now?" You take Jolyne's hand, you all make you're way down to the lobby and took a Taxi to the Italian restaurant Jotaro and you once ate at.

"Hello! A party of 3?" The host asked, you nod and they guide you to a booth, Once you were seated a waiter came along to take your drink orders.

"You look good" Jotaro said as he laid his napkin across his lap,

"Aw thank you! You look very fine yourself! I don't see you in formal clothing a lot it's different but welcomed!" You smile, you could feel Jolyne wearing a big grin on her face.

You lay your napkin across your lap and help Jolyne fix hers on her lap.

"Hello! We are actually having a family special dinner tonight, are you interested?" A waiter walked up with a smile,

"Oh we-" you where about to correct him

"Yes!" But Jolyne blurted first,

"Alrighty then! So that means the parents get their meals for the price of one and the little youngster here gets any meal on the kids menu with a free sundae big enough to share!" The waiter explained,

"P-parents!" You say looking at Jotaro seeing if he would say anything, but he didn't

"Yes! Parents! Figured the parents could use a little love too!" The waiter joked,

Jotaro kept his stoic expression and placed the orders just as a bus boy set down your drinks.

Once they cleared away, you look at Jotaro, he simply gave you a smile and took a sip of his drink.

You smile and felt your heart flutter at the implications of being family.

~Time Skip~

"Here are you meals! Enjoy!" The waiter set down the plates, your mouth watered from the aroma~

"How ya doing porker? Oink oink!" A voice called from behind you in the other booth, you turn and saw one of the men who dine and dashed you on a date. He was sitting with his friends,

"Thanks for dinner that one time! Here let me pay you back!" The guy lifted a sundae over your head and dumped it on you, You sat there in shock for a moment, you got up from your seat

"OH YOU SON OF A—" you stop yourself when you remember Jolyne was there... you take a deep breath in, and out.... the restaurant was quiet.

"Jotaro, Jolyne, there seems to have been an accident! If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go clean myself up!" You wear a painfully fake smile,

"OINK OINK PORKY!!" Those men called to you as you walked away, still holding the fake smile.

~Jotaro's POV~

"Star Platinum, The World!" Time stopped,

I walk over to her, some tears seemed to be trying to escape her eyes but she still held that smile...

I sat back down and have Jolyne face me and away from those assholes.

I was pissed.

Time resumed, I summoned Star Platinum again.... And I beat those guys to bloody pulps, making sure they could never walk again or ever speak again.

I looked down to Jolyne, she was crying...

"Jolyne what's wrong?" I asked trying to bite down my anger as the restaurant staff escort the bastards out of the restaurant.

"P-pretty....that's so mean! Why did they do that to her Daddy?! She's so nice! It's not fair!" Jolyne cried,

"Because they saw how happy she was...people-no monsters like them enjoy the suffering of others..." I grit my teeth.

"Daddy! We can't let that happen! When she comes back I want to make sure she can be happy again!" Jolyne said with determination in her tone,

"I couldn't agree more" I said with a nod.

~Normal POV~

You looked at yourself in the mirror, you tried desperately to clean off the ice cream, syrup, sprinkles and whipped cream off of you while your vision was clouded with tears.

"This is such bullshit..." you toss another paper towel into the trash.

You still felt sticky but everything was off of you.

You head back over to Jotaro and Jolyne.

"Hey...um sorry I should probably head home now, you two enjoy your meals ok?" You wear a fake smile, Jotaro grabbed your wrist and you noticed he was holding a bag with to-go boxes.

"Yeah come on we all will go home." Jotaro said as he and Jolyne got up from the booth.

You three walked out the restaurant, you cried.

"Why?" You ask with your head down,

"We're family Pretty, we love you, we want to make sure you're happy!" Jolyne said,

"Yeah, you deserve to be happy." Jotaro said showing you a smile with a slightly pink blush on the tips of his ears.

"Thank you...hehe, now let's hurry to the hotel before the food gets cold! Or before your sundae melts!" You smile and some tears of joy roll down your cheeks while you hurriedly flag down a taxi.
