They ran as they legs could carry them, down to Gaius' place. Aderonke
continued and continued to cry, she said

" why did I even do it? Why did I have to return to his place with us, we could have come to your place and have a nice time, preventing ourselves from this tragic event."

"Why have I done? I just murder my own husband."

" It won't be long now the police we get into is, we will be arrested and sent to jail..." Gaius interrupted

"...see, you did what you did in self-defense. It was either us or, him. If you did not do what you did, we would be the one lying dead by now. It's self-defense Ronke, stop eating yourself up for it. I am thinking we get away, I used to..." Aderonke interrupted

"no, no, I am not running away. We will surely be apprehended and to run away will only make the matter worse. I will call the police myself and explain to them I can home and find my husband lying lifeless on the floor. This should help the police think I am Innocent."

The day has gotten more brighter and Aderonke walked silently back to
how she left me laying down lifeless on the bed. She opened the gate so widely and walked like a drunken man down to the sitting room.

She opened the door and walked straight to where I laid. She took some "spirit" and white clothes, wiped the floor making sure there was no finger print, she cleaned the sofa in the same manner as she said to herself;

"the only prints should be that of you and myself. Gaius should be left out in this."– She developed some tears as she called the police.

"Hello, hello... Please come, I just met my husband lifeless on the floor, I think someone killed my husband."
