Chapter 17 - Final

Present - 2020

Lauren smiled thinking back on the past 11 years with Camila. Sure things were hard, but they pushed through.

Camila and Lauren have been married for 5 years and the twins are now 10. Lauren has been touring around the world for 3 years as a singer.

4 years ago, Lauren posted a cover on YouTube and got contacted by a record label. Lauren had many fans, maybe 4 million. She called them The Coven, which I though was cute.

Lauren and Camila went back to high school for two years while Laurens mom watched the twins. After high school, Camila went to school for criminal justice and is now a lawyer, so they make decent money.

They have a house that they bought 2 years ago that's not too big and not too small. It had 2 stories, the basement and the ground level. The ground level had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, Livingroom, and a dining room.

The basement had a studio for Lauren and an office for Camila's work. It also had a little area for the twins to play arcade games.

Day 1

Since quarantine, all 4 of them had been bored out of their mind.

Lauren's tour had been cancelled, so she had nothing to do. Camila had nothing to do at work. The twins school got cancelled.

So, today, they were all getting out of the house and going on a jog.

"Jane! Blake! Come on, we're going on a jog! You're coming too!" Lauren yelled.

The twins emerged from their rooms and slipped their shoes on. "Ready?" Camila asked.

"Yep," they said at the same time.

We walked out the door and ran around the block 4 times and decided to head back it. When they got in the house, Lauren went to get 4 bottles of cold water and passed them out.

They both headed back to their rooms to do their own things and Camila and Lauren watched a movie.

Day 2

Today, all of them sat in a circle playing board games. Right now, they were playing candy land. Camila was winning and was rubbing it in everyone's face.

Jane draws the cinnamon roll and Camilas face dropped. Jane laughed and moved her character.

Eventually, Jane won and Camila pouted.

"Oh, don't be a sore loser mom," Blake laughed.

Day 3

Lauren just finished hooking up the Xbox in the living room and they were going to watch a movie together. They decided to watch Trolls, so they can go get the second movie when quarantine is over.

Lauren grabbed the DVD and put it in the slot and grabbed the controller, failing to hold it correctly, and selected the DVD player.

All four of them had their own bowls of popcorn and when Camila was done with hers, she started taking others.

When the movie was over, the twins went to their rooms and Camila and Lauren cuddled on the couch.

Day 4

Today they decided to make a TikTok. they were going to do the "Something New" one. They got into a line. It went Lauren, Camila, Blake, then Jane. Lauren did the moves then moved to the side.

When they were done, they had a fight about whose account its gonna go on. It ended up going on Laurens because it had a better chance of getting famous.

Day 5

All four of them sat around the table with a half done puzzle. They were already 2 hours in, but they had weeks, maybe months, to finish it.

Eventually everyone got bored and went to do their own thing. Jane and Blake went to their rooms to do God knows what, while Camila and Lauren made dinner.

Day 6

Today, Camila was teaching Jane and Black the guitar. They have been begging for months, but now they had time for it. She found 2 of her old guitars and let them pick one out. When they did, she set up a chair in front of them while they sat on the floor.

Lauren peeked in and smiled.

Camila taught them the easiest notes. She excused herself to go to the bathroom while they played them.

When she shut the door, she jumped, not expecting Lauren to be on the other side.

"Lo! I almost pissed my pants!" When she said that, Lauren started cackling. "Whatever," Camila laughed and pushed past her and into the bathroom.

Day 7

Lauren, Camila, Blake, and Jane decided to back cookies to drop off at friends houses.

They made chocolate chips, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, and oatmeal raisin. When they were done, they got ready and got in the car. They went to Normanis and Dinahs first, then Ally's, a girl that worked with Camila, and a couple of the twins friends.

Lauren smiled thinking about how far Camila and her have come.

"What are you thinking about?" Camila asked.

"How far we've come. I can't believe we made it this far."

They smiled at each other. "Watch the road!" Blake yelled. Lauren chuckled and turned to the road.

She reached her hand over and grabbed Camilas hand and rubbed her thumb up and down on her hand. 

"I love you more than anything in the world."
