(Author's Note: Smut warning!! After their first kiss, feel free to skip to next chapter if you dont want to read! This will be the only chapter with smut, as my friend requested it. They will both be wine drunk as well. Enjoy)

I woke up to that stupid alarm. Ugh. Was it already time to wake up? I was still so tired. I turned off the alarm. I rolled over to see Todoroki, still fast asleep through the alarm. So you can sleep through this but not me leaving your grip? Ha. I brushed a bit of hair out of his face, planting a kiss onto his forehead. He pulled me closer as he awoke, stretching a bit. He looked me in the eyes and smiled a still sleepy smile. "Goodmorning," he said once again in that deep morning voice. "Goodmorning. We need to get up, we have work." "Do we really need to?" He asked pulling me closer. I giggled, "yes, we do. Come on," he released me and we both stood up and went out to the kitchen. I made us both a bowl of cereal as Todoroki sleepily sat down at the table. "Thanks," he said, taking his bowl. We quickly ate our food and then diverged paths, him going to his room and me going to mine. I heard the shower start running as Todoroki began to take a shower. I chose my outfit for the the day, it being the one if the two outfits I usually wore to work. I slid on a pair of light blue jeans and put on a white tank top. I then focused on my hair. I brushed the messy locks, letting them fall as they wanted. I went into the kitchen and washed the two bowls and spoons from this morning as Todoroki stepped out of the bathroom wearing a black tshirt and black jeans. He went into his room. I finished washing up and then went into my room, grabbing a toothbrush and toothpaste before heading off into the bathroom. I began brushing my teeth when I felt an arm snake around me. "I'm so tired today," Todoroki said. I nodded. I spat out the toothpaste mixture and wiped my mouth with my arm. "Hey Todoroki, could you go in my room and on my desk there should be a blue pencil case like bag. Could you grab it for me?" I put the toothbrush back in my mouth as he wandered into my room. I finished brushing my teeth and rinsed out my mouth. What was taking him so long? I went into my room and saw him at my desk, reading a piece of paper that had previously been folded with my bag in his other hand. Wait a minute... "Todoroki!" I launched forward, him raising the paper up in the air, smirking at me. "Ah, a love poem. You wrote it. Who was it for? Bakugo?" I turned red all flustered. "I uh well no. It wasnt for him. I dont know who it was for I just kinda wrote it I dont know why," I responded, reaching for the paper, him holding it just out if my reach. "If it's not about him, then who is it about?" "I dont know!" I insisted as he turned back to read the paper again. "Eyes different and yet the same, wait a minute..." he looked at me, who was still struggling to reach the paper, "Izuku, was this about me?" I stopped reaching for it and tried to cover my red face, not knowing what to say. "So it is." "I-I dont know," I managed out, too flustered to know how to respond. "Here," he said, handing me back my paper, smirking at me teasingly. "Thank you," I said, taking it and shoving it into the drawer of my desk. He leaned against my desk as I sat down at it, opening the bag. I held out my one arm and began to put as much cover up makeup on it as possible. Todoroki shook his head, smiling. "Here, let me," he said, taking the beauty blender and foundation away from me. He used what little I had in the bag and blended it onto my arm to create a more natural look. "Thanks," I said, looking at him move onto my other arm. "No problem." When he was finished he put the items back into the bag. "I used to try to cover the scar on my face, so I guess I learned how conceal properly." I nodded and stood up out of my seat and put on a pair of converse. "Ready?" He asked. "Yep," I said, standing up and following him out of my room, grabbing my phone and putting it in my pocket. I followed him out to his car and got in as he went back to lock the house. He got in and we drove, listening to the radio. We got to his shop and got out of the car and headed in. "Follow me," he said, going into the back. "Hey Todoroki! Oh, Midoriya, nice to see you again!" Tamira greeted us. "Nice to see you too, Tami," I said as she pulled me into a hug. "You're here a bit earlier than usual," she told Todoroki. "Oh really? What time is it?" "It's about 10ish. Ya know, you dont have to start until 10:30. Why dont we all go to a cafe nearby and each get a coffee and muffin or something. Su can come to!" I smiled. "That sounds great," Todoroki responded. "Great! I'll go get Su." She went into another room as Todoroki and I waited there for a moment. "Midoriya, you're here. That's cool. Are you joining us to the cafe?" Asui greeted. "Yep," I replied. With that, we all walked about a block or two, entering a cafe. "Welcome back, Tamira. The usual? I see you brought a crowd," the lady behind the counter smiled as we sat at the seats near the counter. "Yes please, and yep! We all got to work early so I decided we should all go out." The lady smiled and walked over to us. "Well. What may I get you all?" "The usual please," Tami said. "A blueberry creme coffee supreme and a banana nut muffin, please," Asui ordered. The lady wrote it down, "and for you?" "I'll take a regular coffee with vanilla caramel creamer, please, with a blueberry muffin," Todoroki ordered. "Certainly, and for you sir?" She asked, turning towards me. "Um I'll take a strawberry refresher and a blueberry muffin as well, please." She nodded and went off behind the counter. "So, Midoriya, how has it been living with Todoroki so far? Ya like it?" Tamira asked. "Oh, certainly! It's been nice so far and I enjoy living there." Todoroki smiled. "So, any news with Bakugo?" Asui asked. "Well, let's just say we had a little run in with him, and he wanted to of course make amends, which I didn't want. It's okay though, Todoroki saved me and we left." I smiled, looking at Todoroki. "That's good. Hopefully you can divorce him soon. We don't want him dragging you back." I nodded as the lady came back with our orders, handing us our things each. Tamira's usual was an iced coffee, 2 chocolate chip muffins, and a small bag of crisps. "Thank you," Tamira said. "No problem," the lady said as Tamira handed her some cash. "Have a nice day Tomo!" Tamira said, as we exited the cafe, walking back to the shop. "That's my friend Tomochika Shibuya. I've known her since childhood," Tamira said. "That's nice," Asui said. "Are any of you guys still friends with any of your childhood friends?" Tami asked. "I've been friend with my friend Hagakure since we were little. And Todoroki and I went to the same school as well, although we didn't talk much." Tami nodded. "I guess Su is the extent of so called childhood friends. I didnt really talk much," Todoroki said. She nodded, "how about you, Midoriya?" "Well throughout school I didnt really have friends. I tried to make friends with this one group, and I followed them everywhere, but they always teased me and bullied me in the lead of their I guess leader. I always kept trying though," I said. "Oh, that's awful! Do you still talk to any of them?" "Actually, the so called leader, the one who bullied me most, that was Katsuki Bakugo. Or as I've always called him, Kacchan." Tami placed a hand on my shoulder, " I'm sorry." I smiled, "no, it's okay. I'm happy now." She returned the smile and took her hand back and we entered the shop again. "It's about time to open up. Are you staying with us, Midoriya?" Asui asked. "I will for 15 minutes, but then I have to go to work. I work at the flower place not too far from here." She nodded as Tami flipped the sign to open and Todoroki went into the back, coming back out with a bag of cat food. "Oh, can I help?" I asked Todoroki. He nodded, "sure. Follow me." I followed him through a door that led us to the back of the cages. There, I helped him fill all the cats and kittens food bowls. One cat caught my eye in particular. He was rubbing his head on my arm and meowing at me. "Can I hold him?" I asked Todoroki. He nodded and I took him out of the cage. I sat on the ground and placed him in front of me. He climbed onto my lapped and rubbed his head against my face, purring. That was when I noticed he was missing half of his tail. And he had the tip of his ear cut off. These things must have happened a long time ago. I pet him. He was such a sweet boy. "His name is Ares (pronounced Aries). He is 4 and is an oriental shorthair. He is such a sweet boy. He's been here the longest however. He was brought here about 2 years ago after he was rescued from an abusive home a town or two over. That's why his tail and ear are like that." The cat laid in my lap as Todoroki explained. Todoroki sat down next to me and leaned his head on my shoulder as Ares stretched out a paw onto his lap. We sat there for a moment, letting Ares rest a bit contently. We saw a flash from behind us and turned to look at it. Tamira was snapping a picture. "Tami!" She laughed. "I already got one of you two being all snuggled up and one of over your heads, petting the cat, I just needed one of both of you looking at me." I felt a bit of pink rush to my face. Todoroki stood up, disturbing Ares' rest and I picked him back up, placing him back in his cage and petting him before closing it. He reached his paw out of the cage, trying to grab onto my arm. I smiled. "He seems to really like you. He doesnt warm up to people that quick. Actually, it took a few months before he would let us pet him without going all the way back into his cage trying to avoid us. Oh, and he's declawed. Poor thing." He indeed was. "Well, I came to tell you that it's about time you began to walk to your work. Would you like someone to walk with you?" She asked. I shook my head, "no thanks, I'll be fine. Thank you for letting me stay for a bit, I might be doing that a lot from now on." She smiled, "you are welcomed here anytime you want." I began to walk to the door as I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I smiled and turned around to look Todoroki in the eyes. He was smiling at me. I hugged him and he laid his head ontop of mine before I had to leave. "See you guys later!" I said, waving goodbye and heading out. I walked to my job, putting in my earbuds and listening to music. I shortly reached my job and opened the door, listening to the bell. Andrea looked up at me. "Midoriya!" She ran over and hugged me. I hugged her back. "Dude! You left me here all by myself with two of the biggest dorks in the world, not that you're any less of a dork." Misaki came up from the back, "You're one to talk. Oh hey Midoriya! Let me just tell you, dont you EVER think about quitting ever again. It was crazy without you." She carried a few pots to the back, leaving before I had a chance to greet her. Andrea grabbed my hand and practically threw me down in a seat, sitting across from me. "Now, I had already gotten details from the boss and even a few things from my sister in law. First, I want to say, I'm so sorry that that stupid Katsuki did that to you. He's such an expired carton of milk!" I smiled at her insult. "I never liked him. We both know that." "Yeah, I know," I respond. "Well, as I said, I talked to my sister in law yesterday. Fuyumi." She smirked at me. "She told me that when she came back to return her little brother's key that she found him in bed with a young man with green hair named Midoriya. I knew it was you! Now, are you going to explain or... are we going to let my mind wander?" She winked at the end. "Andrea!" She laughed, "Shoto, that's his name right?" "Yeah, Shoto. Shoto Todoroki." "Didnt you use to have class with him?" I nodded, "yeah. Now, before you jump to more conclusions than you already have, that night we ended up passing out together after watching some movies, that's all you dirty minded weirdo." She laughed, "what about all the other times you've fallen asleep together all snuggled up?" I got wide eyed, "wait, how did you know!?" She smiled, "I didnt, but now I do. Tell me, what is Shoto to you?" I crossed my arms, "we are just friends." "Friends dont sleep together every night when there is an extra bed that nobody is using Midoriya. Let me ask, how do you feel towards him?" She leaned in. "Andrea, knock it off. His husband just cheated on him. Lay off for a while," Misaki told her. She sighed, "fine. Well, it's nice to have you back." I smiled, "thanks Misaki, and thanks Andrea, it's nice to be back." "Are you all slacking?" The boss man came in. I laughed, "always are!" He smiled. "My my Midoriya, I'm glad you are back. The girls were starting to dominate the store." I laughed. With that, the store opened. I watered a few of the plants and took a few calls, writing down the arrangements and setting them up. After a few hours, my phone began to ring. I answered it, "hello?" "Hey Izuku, I'm on my break. Would you like to grab a bite with me?" It was Todoroki. "Sure, let me just tell my boss." "Alright, I'll walk to your store and meet you there. I'm on my way. See you then," he said. "See you then," I said as he hung up. "Was that Shoto?" I jumped up slightly. "Andrea! Dont scare me like that." She laughed, "so, was it?" I nodded, "yep. I'm taking my break and I'm gonna grab a bite with him. Could you tell boss." She nodded. "Well, is he coming here?" I sighed, "please just leave him be." She smiled and turned back to the lillies behind her, grabbing a few tiger lillies and wrapping them into a bouquet. "Yeah yeah, whatever." She placed a few baby breaths in the mix as well as a few Kellogg's lillies. "Here," she said, handing the flowers to me," these are for you to give Todoroki. I'll pay for them, but say they're from you." I chuckled. "Alright, alright. I'll see you when I get back," I said as she went off to the back, waving bye. I took off my apron type thing and placed it at my little table. I stood outside, leaning against the side of the building, holding the bouquet waiting for Todoroki. "Midoriya!" I heard someone yell. I turned and saw Iida on his daily jog. "Oh! Iida! How have you been?" He smiled, "I've been doing as good as ever. I talked to Uraraka yesterday. She explained to me what Katsuki did. My deepest sympathy." "Thanks. It's been difficult." He leaned against the wall with me. "Well, if you ever need anything, just tell me." I thought for a moment, "actually, Iida, will you be my divorce lawyer?" He smiled, "of course." Iida had become a lawyer after graduation. He was still a hero, but he also was a lawyer much like how Aizawa is a hero but also a teacher. He was #1 in the city. He worked hard to get to where he is. "Thanks. Actually, I wanted to know if you would come and sit down with Mr.Aizawa, All Might, Kacchan and I soon. I dont have an exact date, but we are all going to sit down and settle things. I think Todoroki will come to if he wants. That's who I'm living with." "Uraraka told me. Well, seeing as I'm your lawyer, I gotcha. Just make sure to give me at least 2 days heads up." I smiled. "Thanks. I don't know what I would do without ya." He leaned off of the wall, "thanks. I'm here for ya. Well, I've got to get back before I'm late to be back for break. I'll talk to you later," he waved. "See ya!" He ran back the way he came, not using his quirk of course. Classic Iida, always trying his best. As I watched Iida jog off, Todoroki wrapped his arms around me. "Is this your new way of greeting me?" I smiled, turning to face him. "Yep." "Oh!" I handed him the flowers, "these are for you." He turned a light pink looking down at the flowers and back at me. He smiled. "Thank you. You're the first person to ever give me flowers." "You're welcome." He leaned against the wall and I stood in front of him. I looked at the window next to him and saw Andrea smiling at me. I rolled my eyes. "What?" He asked. "Oh, just Andrea teasing me, that's all. She insists that there is something between us." He laughed, "Both Tami and Asui have been teasing me the whole day as well. They keep joking around and Tami even printed up the pictures and taped them to the board. She refuses to take them down and said she would at the end of the day." I laughed. Just then a regular customer approached the door. "Hello, Ms. Anyachi!" I greeted her. "Oh hello Midoriya, I havent seen you here the past couple days. I'm glad you're back. I missed your face." I smiled, "back for your daily pink rose?" She nodded and walked up to me. "You know, you have really pretty eyes," she complimented, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks." "And my, your smile. It's perfection. I heard you're divorcing that man Bakugo." I nodded. "That makes you fair game, right?" She winked. "Ya know, you're at a great age to start a family." Pink brushed my cheeks. "You know, I dont have any plans later on. Why dont you and I have some time, alone. One on one?" She leaned in close. Todoroki cleared his throat, getting our attention. "Who's this?" She asked. "That's Todoroki. He's Andrea's brother in law. I moved in with him after I found out Katsuki cheated." She nodded. "That's nice. Anyways, so, tonight. I have a few bottles of wine. My roommates arent home. How about it?" She was persistent. Todoroki pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arm around mine. "Actually, he's got plans with me." I looked at him, confused. He looked slightly, dare I say, jealous. Anyachi just laughed, "Well that sucks, I dont remember asking you, did I?" She was pressing his buttons. He clenched his fists. "Actually Anyachi, I have to decline. Maybe another time? I have to get going now." Todoroki smiled at her. "Okay, fine. Another time. Until then," she said, winking at me. She leaned up and kissed my cheek before entering the shop. Todoroki's grip tightened. "Is she always like this?" "Yeah, she is. Only to me though. She's been trying at me for years. Why do you think she buys a rose from here every single day?" He let out a breath, "okay." I smirked, "my my, is the fierce Shoto Todoroki jealous?" He turned slightly red for a second before returning the smirk, "I just have to claim what's mine, my dear Izuku" I turned bright red. He began to laugh, "I'm teasing. Let's go eat." He let go of my arm and instead place his hand in mine. "F-fine let's go." We walked down the street to a small food place. We walked in and ordered our food and drinks. I told him to go find us a seat and while he did I paid. He came back and soon realized I had paid. "Hey! I was supposed to pay!" "Sucks." "No! I'm the one who was supposed to since I'm the one who asked you to come here with me. You already gave me these flowers, at least let me buy you some food." I shook my head, "not happening. I already paid." I heard snickering behind us and we both turned to see Mina with a girl who looked to be about a year old. She was pink like Mina, but had black hair like Sero and had his eyes. She had little mini horns like Mina. She was adorable! "Mina!" Todoroki waved. "You two sound like you've been dating for years. Now, please explain the situation and also explain why you two came in here holding hands." I grabbed the food from the man from the counter and Todoroki and I sat with Mina. "We were just holding hands. Friends do that. Plus, I had to get him away from a wack job who wanted a wack job if you know what I mean. He gave me flowers because he is a florist and it was a nice gesture. Next, we are here together because we planned to meet up to eat. As in a lunch break. We need to eat every once in a while ya know." Mina laughed, "whatever you say." We sat with Mina for a while, eating and catching up before we had to split ways. Todoroki insisted on walking me back to my shop. As I said goodbye I was about to open my shop door when he pulled me close and hugged me, resting his head on mine. "Can I come in with you?" I smiled. "Sure, just steer clear of Andrea, she's like Tamira just a little more likely to speak her mind." He grabbed my hand and held the door open for me, "dont worry, I've met her before. We're family. Did you forget?" I laughed and stepped inside, him following me, keeping our fingers interlocked. "Look at the two LOVERS!" Andrea appeared from behind us and Todoroki let go of my hand. "Andrea, I'm not gay," Todoroki insisted. It took everything in me not to laugh. "Whatever you say little Shoto. Did you two enjoy your date?" I turned red, "it wasnt a date!" Todoroki remained straight faced, "we were just roommates who went to eat for a lunch break. It's something people usually do." She nodded, "I guess so. Well, I should leave you two alone before Misaki drags me away. See ya!" She waved. "Bye Andrea," Todoroki said. "I should buy a flower or two for the ladies back at work. Any recommendations?" He asked. "Hmm," I thought, "how about a sunflower each?" He smiled, "perfect." I helped him pick the two best ones and handed them to him. He tried to pay for them but I refused to accept money. He chased me around a bit before accepting it. "Well, I should be heading back before they get worried." "Yeah, you should." I looked out an open window, leading to the greenhouse full of flowers. He did the same and stood next to me. I turned to face him as he did the same and I leaned my back against the window. He brought me into another hug, placing one hand on my head and the other around my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around his waist and back, smiling. He pressed his lips against my head for a moment, pulling away afterwards. "I'll see you later," he said, walking towards the door. "See ya!" I said, waving him goodbye as he picked up the flowers and left. I sat up in the windowsill, leaning against the side of it. I enjoyed spending time with him. "Whatcha doin?!" I fell backwards, Misaki catching me, laughing. "Had a nice time out with your 'roommate'?" She put quotation marks around roommate. "Yeah yeah whatever. Let's get back to work." She agreed and we went back to the greenhouse, continuing our jobs.

"Bye Misaki! Bye Andrea! See you two tomorrow," I said, walking out the door. The girls made me bring a half dozen Hibiscus flowers for Todoroki. They had already paid for them, so I couldn't say no. Apparently Andrea had watched the whole situation with Ms.Anyachi and told Misaki about it and they were all for 'me moving on with someone better' as they put it. I swear, he's just my roommate. Why would they listen to me though? I laughed to myself. Girls will be girls. I approached the shop and opened the door, being greeted by Su. "Todoroki is in the back, you can go see him if you'd like." I thanked her and went back. I looked at the board on the way in. There were the 3 pictures Tami had hung up. I smiled. I went back and saw Todoroki, filling the water bowls for a few of the cats. He hadn't seen me yet. I wrapped my arms around him, shocking him as he dropped the water dish which was about 1/4th of the way filled. "Shit!" I laughed. "Midoriya you little! Ah whatever." I handed him the flowers. "More?" I smiled, "The girls made me." He took one flower out and placed the rest down. He snapped the stem to a reasonable size and then turned to face me. As a florist it kind of irked my soul that he did that because now if we wanted it to grow it would need more care than the others, but I brushed it off. "Hibiscus. It's a beautiful flower." I nodded, "I didnt know you knew what it was." He took a few steps towards me, "I know a few things." He held my face with one of his hands and placed the flower behind my ear. "Beautfiul," he said. I smiled. He backed up, "hold on. Let me take a picture." I laughed and let him. He snapped a few shots, me posing different for each one. Shortly after the little 'photo shoot' I heard a cat meowing loudly. "Ah, Ares must have woken up and seen you." I laughed. I opened his cage and brought him out, him nuzzling into my neck, purring. "Hey, why dont you keep him?" I opened my eyes and looked at Todoroki, "wait, really?" He nodded, "he seems to have chosen his person." I smiled, "please, can I?" He nodded. "I'll help you fill out a form. He brought me to the front as I was still holding Ares. "Asui, can I see an adoption form? I think Ares has chosen his forever home." Her eyes lit up as she saw him cuddled with me, "that's great! Please fill out the form to see if you are eligible, which I know you are but it's for public records.." "Thanks," Todoroki said, taking the form. We went back into the back room and sat on the floor. I wrote down my name, the pet number, my address, and those sorts. "Any pets currently?" Todoroki asked. "Yeah, a dog. His name is Todoroki," I teased. I wrote N/A. "Do you plan on moving within the next 12 months?" I thought for a moment. I looked at Todoroki and smiled before looking down at the form. "No." Todoroki beamed, "really!?" "Yeah yeah, don't act all surprised. I enjoy your company and besides, I'll have to buy a car before I can even think of a house. Sorry that you're stuck with me for at least that long." He leaned against me, "I'm glad you live with me." "Me too." Next question: have you previously owned pets of this kind? I wrote a yes and moved on. I had a small tabby for a while with my mom and then Bakugo. He sadly passed away about 2 years ago now. Next. Why do you want to adopt this pet? Please check all that apply. I checked off for companionship and house pet. I had to answer a few more questions as well as write down my previous vet's name, number, and workplace. I had to pull out their card from my wallet for that. When finished, I had Todoroki turn in the form to Asui. She had to fill out a few papers, but I should be able to bring Ares home today! With the help of Todoroki, we picked out a litter box, litter, food bowls, a food brand, a few cat toys, and even a cute little bow tie collar with his information on the inside. It was a red bow and looked absolutely adorable on Ares. I also chose a few bags of cat treats and a cat carrier. After I bought all of the things while Todoroki talked with Tami about the form, I asked Su for a Sharpie and wrote on the carrier on the top in a little space where there was room to.
