Present tenses in English 😁

Hello everyone! I am back with some ways on how to speak in the different forms of present tense. In English there are four. We have simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous.

🌸 Simple present is used to express habits and general truths.
🌼 Present continuous is used to talk about something happening now such as an action.
🌷 Present perfect is used for repeated actions (time is not important) and actions that began in the past and aren't finished.
🌺 Present perfect continuous is used to talk about ongoing actions where process and result are important.

Simple present tense examples:
(The verb is used in the simple tense by adding an "s" to the end of the verb)
- He goes to the library often.
- I always wake up at 5:30am.

Present continuous tense examples:
- The noise is beginning to give me a headache.
- I am complaining to his mother about him.

Present perfect tense examples:
( use have or has based on whether the noun is or plural or singular)
- We have known each other for a very long time.
- I have just eaten.

Present Perfect Continuous tense examples:
(This tense is made up of two parts the present perfect tense of the verb 'have been' or 'has been' and present participle of the main verbs 'ing')
- They have been trying to contact her.
- The party has been going on all night.
