— First off, disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter *gasp* shocker, I know.
— Secondly, as the title suggests, this is where my short stories will go. It will mostly be one-shots, but I may add another chapter if I desire; either that, or I'll make it into its own story. It depends. Some may become their own stories, and others will just be plot bunnies (story ideas that may not be expanded upon).
— Some of the fics can be found on my archiveofourown profile, which is under the same name: onyxjay. They're all written separately there, not compiled into one collection like they are here. And some of them are restricted to those with accounts, so you're better off reading them here while you're... here.
— Perhaps the most important thing is knowing what I will not write. Here's a most definitely incomplete list.
What I won't/probably won't write:

• Harry/Tom (two exceptions)
• Harry/Voldemort
• Hermione/Draco
• Harry/Snape
• (or really any student x adult)
• Hermione/Pansy
• Next Generation (Cursed Child, etc.)
• Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (hadn't seen)
• Marauders Era (I don't focus on this time period a lot)
• First War (same as above)
• angst (I prefer fluff, but I do write some)
• hurt/comfort (same as above)
• bashing (especially of the Weasleys and Hermione but also not too keen of Dumbledore bashing anymore)
• sexual content
• potentially triggering and/or graphic themes
• mpreg
• incest
(I'm aware the more popular ships are listed, but at least you can find them elsewhere very easily.)
If there's something I missed you want me to write, leave a comment and I'll decide what to do with it.
— You are more than welcome to share any ideas, but since I'm not normally a request-taking person, I cannot guarantee I'll get to it. And if you do have an idea, try to be specific enough for me to go off of. Just saying a ship or "fluff" or "angst" isn't always enough.
— And lastly, I have no idea how frequent updates will be on here.
