Chapter 13

Donghua Dijun's POV:

I was sitting on the bed with my eyes closed. It was silent in the room until Xiao Bai decided to speak.

FJ: Why do you have to stay in the same room as me?

DJ: Because if I am in a separate room I would have to waste my energy to come to your room in the middle of the night.

FJ: Dijun you see me everyday you can go nights without seeing me.

DJ: No I can't.

She sighed and turned her back to me. I used my magic to levitate her over to me and in my lap.

FJ: Hey what are you doing!?

DJ: Xiao Bai let me cuddle you.

After a while she relaxed in my arms and leaned her head on my chest.

DJ: Your wings are really big.

FJ: Yeah, it took me quite sometime to get used to them.

I pressed my chin against her head and hugged her tight but not enough to hurt her wings. I felt her grab my hair and play with it. It was going on like this for a couple of minutes until we were interrupted by a knock at the door.

LY: Your Highness it is time to start.

She quickly got off of my lap and cleared her throat.

FJ: Alright I will be out in a minute.

LY: Ok I will wait for you.

She looked at me with a blush on her face.

FJ: I really liked the moment we had but that doesn't mean I am in love with you!

She quickly walked out the door and left me in the room by myself. At least I am making some progress. I got up and went to where she was at.

Bai Feng Jiu's POV:

AH AH AH! What did I just say!? Did I actually let him cuddle me!? Feng Jiu get a hold of yourself, even though that just happened I can't fall in love with him that easily. I looked behind me and I saw Dijun walking my way. I calmed myself and looked at him as he stopped in front of me.

FJ: We shouldn't keep him waiting.

DJ: hmm

We walked to Lan Yun and stopped in front of him.

LY: *bows* Your Highness are you ready to start.

FJ: Yes let's go

LY: Alright

He led us to a lake where the others were waiting for us.

LY: Your Highness when you start to try and unlock your full power it could take anywhere from today to the end of the week.

FJ: Alright what do I need to do?

LY: In your previous life you handed me this scroll to me so that I can give you this now. All you have to do is follow the things written on the scroll.

I nodded and took the scroll from him. I opened it and it read:

To unlock your full powers all you need to do is connect with your Phoenix side and your other animal side. Once you connect with both of them you will become more powerful than in your previous life. This could take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 week. You have to be focused and somewhere quiet.

I rolled the scroll back up and handed it back to Lan Yun. Now that I know what to do I just need a place that is quiet. The more I focus the quicker I can get it done.
