May 24

As I opened Lolo's room, I was shocked. He's not there. I looked for him everywhere but I didn't find her.

I called uncle on his cell phone. He told me he's on his way to the hospital.

Then I decided to visit Shar.

I am supposed to open the door but I saw Lolo is there.

He is wiping his tears while looking at Shar who is sleeping.

Looking at Lolo and thinking his reason of giving Shar to someone else I know I don't have the right to question him. I felt he also love Shar looking at him that time.

I waited uncle at the door because I want to show how Lolo love Shar.

Then we walked away and talked not too near from the room.

"Uncle, do you really have to go to America?"

"Her doctors are waiting for her. She needs to be treated there."

"Can I not come and study in America?"

"Dad needs you here."

"What if Lolo will come too?"

"Shar might not be comfortable while being treated. She will be pressured."

"Shall I just stay and wait here?"

"You should, but you should not ignore other possible things that could happen.

After our convo, uncle went to Lolo's room while I decided to visit Shar.

Shar is still sleeping that time. I held her hand.

While looking at her, I can't help but I feel like crying.

I just keep looking at her hand. Even Shar's hand is so pretty.

Then,

"Don," Shar called me.

I am so happy that she is awake now.

"Have you heard about me?"

I nodded.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier," she said.

"Don't think about it, are you feeling better now?"

She nodded.

"But I have to go to America tomorrow."

Then suddenly heavy rains started to be seen on the window.

"It's raining," Shar said.

"It's raining," I told her.

The flowing rain is like my tears. I am really feeling so heavy that I have to cry but I can't. Good the rain did it for me. I felt lighter.

"What do you usually do when it's raining?" Shar asked.

"I prefer to stay inside when it is raining," I replied.

"But why? Haven't you tried taking a bath under the rain? One of my classmates here in the Philippines once told me that the best feeling is when you stay under the rain."

"No, I haven't tried it yet, but I think I have to,"

"I also want to try. But nanay always tell me that I should stay inside the house. Because I might get sick."

Then, nanay and Ms. Lee came inside.

"Shar,"

The moment Ms.Lee called Shar's name, the heavy rain turned to light rain.
