i sat down in one of those waiting chairs, army's cat curled into a ball in my lap and slept while we waited. all i did was check my phone for anything, like if army texted me when he landed.
me and asagao fell asleep again, inside of the airport.
i check my squid phone. 20:00. army should of landed an half an hour ago. but there has been many delays anyway he could just be arriving just now. exit number 18 is what he told me.
i walk towards the luggage entry is, asagao followed close behind. just for her safety i pick her up and looked around if anyone was coming.
hours...
and hours...
and minutes...
and seconds...
his plane never arrived. that's when mask and skull found me waiting for him, they ran over, and looked so distraught.
skull broke the news to me. "army's plane crashed"
everything stopped moving around me once skull showed the news on his purple squid phone, so much gravity pushed me down to my knees. asagao screamed from how tight i was holding her, she struggles out of my arms as mask and skull were trying to calm me down. i was too heart broken i shoved them away.
army....
