•VI - What He's Missing•

IT WAS once again Sunday, another tutor session with Y/N and Draco

They sat in a little corner of the library, shelves of books covering them. Now, it's not what you're thinking- well, depends on what you are thinking about, but they were on the floor, backs against the bookshelves

They had already done their session for today, they were just.. Sitting in silence.

Y/N had a potions book in hand, while Draco did his homework. They werent really doing anything. The Gryffindor made big improvement, and she doesnt need much help anymore

The Slytherin wrote down the answers, and suddenly stopped as a train of thoughts came running into his mind.

Yesterday's talk hasnt left his mind for even a second. He didnt like the idea of dating Y/N to mess with Blaise. If he wanted to be in a relationship, he wanted it to be real, not some kind of joke

His past relationships were pretty serious, but some people just really dont end up together.

Draco sighed, making Y/N look up from her book, "are you alright?", she asks

"yeah, just.. Thinking, i guess"

With that, Y/N raised an eyebrow, and closed her potions book. She then put it down on the floor and faced Draco, "care to tell me what's on your mind?"

The blonde hesitated, but after awhile, he answered, "i just- i dont know, dont you think this is a bad idea?", he asked, motioning to the both of them

Raising a questioning eyebrow, the Gryffindor said, "what is?"

"us fake dating?"

Y/N let out a small "oh", and thought for a moment, "think of it this way, it's a revenge for breaking my heart.", she said, and looked at Draco, noticing his frown, "come on, i know it's lame, but don't you want to help me? I just want to let him know what he's missing"

With that, Draco smiles. He likes that Y/N knew her worth. She was much more than what she is.

Well, if i were being honest, every single person around the world should know their worths. They're much more than what they are.

Draco looks into Y/N's eyes, they were pretty. Ones you can look at for hours and never get tired of.

"he doesn't know, but he really is missing a lot"

It was Monday morning, Y/N and Draco walked into the Great Hall together.

They were laughing about some joke Y/N made, when they stopped by the huge doors. The pair face each other, "i'll go to my table now", Y/N said, glancing behind Draco where Blaise sat

He wasn't looking, he was too busy snogging off a turkey leg. It wasn't a very nice view.

"alright, i'll see you later.", Draco said, making the girl look back at him

Y/N smiles, "i'll see you later", she went on her toes and gave Draco's cheek a little peck, making the blonde's stomach turn

The pair parted, and went on their own tables, Y/N sitting on the Gryffindor table, and Draco on the Slytherin's

Y/N filled her plate, and felt eyes on her. She looked around the Gryffindor table and saw the famous trio looking at her. She awkwardly smiles at them, and Hermione gave one back in return

Not a second after, they went back to their conversation, making Y/N sigh. It was hard basically not having anyone to talk to, besides maybe professor Snape, and i guess Draco.

The Gryffindor didn't exactly have friends- i think i've mentioned this before- but, both Gryffindors and Slytherins werent that friendly to her

Ravenclaws didn't really notice her, cause their noses are always stuck on some book, and, well, Hufflepuffs- they're pretty kind. But Y/N doesn't have someone that she can actually talk to

A friend.

It gets sad at times, but she manages. Her roomates- Hermione's one of them, actually- are just silent most of the times

Shaking off her thoughts, Y/N poked her food with her fork and put it inside her mouth, hoping that better days would come.

Wednesday, Draco and Y/N had Transfiguration together.

They walk in, hand in hand- well not exactly, more like their fingers are holding, they were locked together

Transfiguration was their fourth class of the day, after lunch. All through out the week, they have seven classes, but only takes five a day. Three in the morning, and two in the afternoon.

Their schedule is a little messy, but what that do have everyday is their morning classes, and the afternoon ones switch from day to day.

Y/N and Draco sat down, and since professor Mcgonagall wasn't there yet, the pair faced eachother and talked, and they didn't notcie, but their fingers were still linked together.

On the other side of the room, a certain Slytherin noticed the closeness of the pair.

Blaise Zabini raises an eyebrow. He never thought the both of them would get along.

A slight flick hit Blaise's chest. What was that?

He frowned, his little Slytherin girlfriend noticing, "are you alright, Blaisey?", she asks in such annoying tone

"i'm fine" he says harshly.

Soon, Mcgonagall enters the classroom, her green robes flying behind her, and her tall hat standing on her head

Once she got in front, she told everyone to get their books out, and as told, they did.

Y/N opened her book on the said page, 247, it was about turning people into animals

"people change into animals, not Animagi, but somehow similar, since both turn into animals. Transfiguration of human to animal is very tricky, so i want everyone to learn this", Mcgonagall explains

A person, Ronald Weasley, put a hand up, surprisingly. The professor motioned him to speak up, "will we be turning people to animals, professor?"

"no, mr. Weasley. But i might turn you into an animal if you dont study well, since this will turn up in your NEWTS"

With that people laughed

Y/N looked at Draco, and laughed, "Godric, it would've been fun to turn you into a ferret"

The blonde scoffed, "out of all animals, a ferret, seriously?"

"what? Ferrets are adorable", the Gryffindor giggled, "besides, it would've been perfect for you, a white snow ferret, running and bouncing around"

Draco shook his head in disbelief, "you are unbelievable"

With a wink, Y/N smiled at him and said, "i know", she then went back to reading her book,

Maybe glancing at Draco once in awhile
