"Hija, are you sure you won't come with us in Manila for summer?" Tita Seychelle, ang asawa ni Tito Hercules at ina ng magkapatid na Ocean at Lance.

"Two months yung summer, Perse. Di ka ba mabo bore dito?" Hestia have been very determined and consistent in pursuing me. Halos siya nalang yata talaga ang umaasa na sasama ako sakanilang pag uwi ngayon sa Manila. More so, to grab that scholarship from La Salle.

Malungkot akong tumango dahil ibig sabihin lamang ay sa Disyembre na muli kaming lahat magkikita. Nakasanayan na ng pamilya namin na mag out of the country tuwing Christmas break. Eight months from now.

"Kahit two weeks lang, Perse?" Nagulat ako kay Artemis. I turned to her, she's wearing her go-to outfit which is, tube top and at short shorts.

I give her a wry smile because I never thought she'd ever pursue nor asked me to go with them since she knew how confident and decisive I am to stay here for the whole summer.

She just nodded and didn't say anything after.

"Give me your bag, Art. Ilalagay ko na sa kotse." si Phyl

Iniabot naman ni Artemis ang kaniyang backpack. It's been three days since they visited. Noon ngang graduation ko. Kung pwede lamang paglapitin ang Silvestre at Manila ay malamang ginawa ko na.

"Doon na ako maghihintay sa sasakyan, uunahan ko si Ocean." He said and twirled.

"You can't drive, Phyl. Asa ka pang papayagan ka nila Mama." Artemis

"Bakit, sinabi ko bang mag da drive ako?"

Kumunot pareho ang noo namin ni Art at hinintay lang ang sasabihin niya. Paniguradong walang kuwenta nanaman 'to.

"Nag pustahan kami kung sino ang mauuna sa sasakyan. Sayang 'yon, isang libo din 'yun."

Napailing nalang kami. Speaking of Ocean, I haven't told him about Wendy, hindi ko rin kasi alam kung papaano sabihin sakanya but I also don't want Wendy to get hurt. Kahit pa umiyak na siya dahil sakanya, I want her to feel better somehow. Kaya naman nang nakita kong dumaan siya papunta sa kusina ay sinundan ko siya.

"You already lose to Phyl. Ang saya-saya niyang natalo ka niya." I said to start a conversation.

He smirked "It's fine. I took a bath, anyway." aniya at nagsalin ng tubig sa baso.

"You mean, hindi siya naligo?"

"Ewan. Alam ko lang ay ten minutes after ng pustahan namin ay nag chat na siya na nasa sasakyan na siya. I don't know how he managed his time tho."

"Wow. I mean I don't know if I'll be amazed?" He laughed

"Well you should be. He's competitive."

Ngumiti ako at tumango. I swallowed all my comfortless so that I can already tell what I've been dying to say to him.

"Ocean." he stopped and turned to me

Is this the first time I called him by his name? This feels too awkward. He walked slowly towards me.

"Persephone?"

I don't know! But this is the first time he called me by my complete first name!

"I have a friend and she secretly likes you." Tila ba may malaking punyal na hinugot mula sa dibdib ko nang sabihin iyon.

His brows furrowed. "Who's friend?"

"Wayne Alejaga, her nickname's Wendy. She sent you friend request for years already but you seemed to be edgy and not interested. She assumes that you dislike her."
