"THE WIND SHALL take me back to you."

Giyuu's heart beat rang from massive to steadily exotic. He felt his body crawl against his skin thinking he broke himself that such caused day to day unabating hallucinations. An awfully familiar voice, whispered like the evening thrust. Delicate like the silver bells.

He still had not gotten over you.

He was stuck to you like glue and his heart doesn't want to let go as much as he needs to.

He loves you too much that every time you barge into his field of thinking, a sharp stabbing pain thrusts through his body and he's back to a billion pieces of confusion. His life is already an inexplicable puzzle --- unsolvable, torn and subdued. All because of you're doing.

"Come back to me."

Emptiness clouded his entire being. For minutes, he stared into nothingness and succumbed to the eerie silence beamed by the fresh air on top of the cliff. It's a place he religiously visited to free himself from the permanent, stiff and heavy manacles wrapped around his wrists refusing to let go.

Your disappearance were those manacles.

"Hey." A rather gruff voice, like the creaking of the gallows-chain called from behind. The snow-haired hashira grew more discomposed as days go by. The moderately silent and lifeless ambience persisted for months in view of your vanishing.

Both Giyuu and Sanemi agreed on one thing, for the first time around, they needed you back. The team needed you back. To some, you were the usual stoic captain, it was as if their heart would leave their rib cages whenever you're angry and nagging all the time, but the gang was a puppet without you --- devoid of life. Your euphonious, pleasant sounding but moralistic words of wisdom stimulated their morale and made them stronger to carry your will to every mission, believe it or not.

But there was no trace of certainty whether you are breathing or not, that one fact made them feel dumbfounded in their seats. They were sulking at their loss, all blaming themselves to the lack of ability on saving you. Even Ubuyashiki was perturbed and if only the chances were knocking on his front door, he could've snatched it right away...But the odds of getting you back weren't favorable on the corps' side and to actually devise a probable plan boils down to null and void.

"Jeez. Tomioka, Shinazugawa...if you guys keep on moping like that, I might be put out myself." Shinobu let out hearty laughs, attempting to lighten up the ill-gotten mood. "I have a strong gut feeling that she's alive and well! To be honest, she might even be the very first to be freed from Muzan Kibutsuji's grasps!"

"It's okay, you two...she might be right in front of our doorstep before we even get to her!" Said the flame hashira.

It was such pleasantry to hear words of incitement every now and then, on Giyuu's side of the story. It was riling up what little bottle of hope he has left. Yet nay, without seeing your small frame and the smile he all so loved with his own two eyes, he'd forever be troubled --- ill at ease.

"I thought you're not going to come back."

"When will I ever make you feel that I'm not going to come back? I will always come back for you."
