You spent the night at your boyfriend's house as he had insisted that you did. The rest of the night was quite normal. You ate dinner, studied, and watched movies to your heart's content while cuddling of course. You had to go back to work on Thursday so you and Lei were spending as much time as you could with each other. Along that time period, you met his older brother, Akiteru, who had come home from college on a little break. The both of you got along pretty well, as he was surprised that his little brother had a beautiful and caring girlfriend like you. He told you embarrassing moments about when Kei was younger and it was really interesting as your boyfriend was just sitting there.....embarrassed. He even showed you pictures of the blonde. He had such an adorable smile as one specific picture caught your eye. The boy had the brightest smile, with a little party hat on. You clenched your heart as you couldn't take anymore of this cuteness.
Akiteru noticed this as he showed a little smirk and gave you the picture. You were hesitant to take it as he assured you that he could always just print out another one. Kei tried to snatch it from you but failed.
You made sure to put it in your bag for safe keeping.
A couple of days have passed by as you were in the gym helping out the team with being an extra Libero for practice cases. Daichi called for a break as everyone grabbed their water bottles. You sat by the door taking in the breeze. You heard Nishinoya and Tanaka snickering in the background as they walked up to you.
"Hey (last name)," the second year libero called out, " wanna play a prank on bean pole?"
You weren't sure if it would be okay, but you listened along to their plan on Tsukishima. It should be harmless.
The idea was to do a breakup prank on your boyfriend. You felt uneasy but after 10 minutes of the two pleading you finally gave in.
"Alright." You said " I'll do it after practice."
The second years were cheering being happy to get to see the salty bean pole's reaction.
Time skip- after practice
It was about time for the prank as Tanaka and Nishinoya were getting in position to watch the scene.
You put your acting skills to work, putting on a serious yet sad face. Kei was holding your hand leading you out of the gym.
"Kei...." you softly spoke, making your voice a little stern but quiet.
The blonde let go of your hand as he turned around to see what was wrong. Your face looked towards the ground. Knowing where the two boys who established this plan, were located.
"I- I think we should break up..." you didn't want to see the blondes face. You hoped that he wouldn't take it too seriously.
"Y-your joking right?" The blonde thought that you weren't serious, until you looked up at him as he saw your face.
His eyes grew a little wider than before. As tears spilled out of his eyes. He was heartbroken. The salty and rude blonde, was crying. You felt your heart drop as your heard the boy's sobs. This hurt you more than.m it hurtes him.
"D-did *sniff* I do something wrong?" He asked.
The two second years were so surprised. They thought it would be funny but they felt bad.
You couldn't take it any more. You hugged your sobbing boyfriend. But he was too scared to hug back.
"I'm sorry Kei..... it's a prank. I didn't mean it. Please don't cry I'm sorry. I-I'll make it up to you."
You heard the blonde chuckle as he hugged you back but even tighter. You took off his glasses and wiped his tears.
Tanaka and Noshinoya tried to make their escape when one of the stepped in a twig. (Oh how tragic)
The blonde swiftly looked at their direction. A menacing aura was surrounding him as he glared at the two boys as they were already saying their prayers hoping their death would be less violent.
