It was the next day and you were teaching Hinata how to receive better during practice. Since the baby sitting incident happened yesterday, you made sure to spend time with Hinata so he would get better with receiving the ball.
Sometime later, the boys were having a practice game with each other. So you were jotting down positions and talking to coach Ukai about the team's starting lineup and how to improve on situations during a real game.
It was break time during practice and Hinata and Kageyama were bickering like always. You walked up to Tsukishima as he was drinking from his water bottle. You looked a little tired than usual today so he teased you a bit for that.
He ruffled your hair like always and you decided that it would be fun to jump on his back for some reason. The boy was a bit flustered as he held onto your thighs to keep you from falling. You were really high off of the ground so this was kind of fun. You got a whiff of the scent of Kei's hair and it smelled nice.
The boy set you down as you went over to Kiyoko since she called you over. She was holding something in her hands and handed it to you. It was a jacket that said assistant coach on the backside. Your eyes gleamed as you tried it on.
It felt really comfortable. As soon as you turned around you saw the team pointing to the backs of their own jackets. Except for Kei of course.
"WELCOME TO THE TEAM MISS ASSISTANT COACH!"
You bowed down giving your thanks as you gave the team your signature smile.
Oh practice ended and you were about to help clean up the gym. But two little goofballs wanted to stay longer so you didn't have to do any cleaning.
You were walking home with Kei as you held his hand. You loved the warmth that radiated from him. He wasn't the PDA type but you were glad that he at least holds your hand.
The both of you arrive at the house and eat. Afterwards, you each take a turn using the shower.
Once the both of you were finished you decide to do your classwork that wasn't due until later. You had a project coming up and the teacher said that there were already paired up partners that were chosen. Sadly.
You were the first one to finish your work so you decide to lay on his bed. Being lost in thought.
The blonde was listening to music while he did his work and you literally had nothing to do but at the same time you didn't want to bother the boy.
You rolled to the side letting out a deep sigh as you were face to face with the Dino stuffed animal. You stood up as you got off the bed and scrolled through the pictures of your phone.
Each holding such a special memory that you knew you'd never forget. You had a couple of pictures of Kei himself. So you thought it would be fun to place one of them as your wallpaper. It was of him waking up.
