Sonic sat in the middle of the room, everyone was there, wanting to understand things that were hard to explain and to deal with, Tails was still in the hospital from what happened a month ago, his wounds had been more serious than they all had thought, but it didn't stop everyone from blaming him, all because the plain had taken a hit during the fight and he didn't know what to do because of everyone yelling orders at him

and here they were now, everyone having an 'Intervention' for him, so they can get rid of his flaws, to make him 'see' his mistakes and 'mould' him into the 'model hero' of the planet once again, yet what none of them knew was that he was loosing patients and he was slowly getting annoyed that hey had the nerve to judge him, to change him

"look all we're saying is that you should have been focused on defeating Eggman instead of teasing him" Knuckles stated annoyed as he looked at the younger hedgehog

"He's right Big Blue" Rouge sighed "If you hadn't been doing that then Tails wouldn't have gotten hurt"

He let them talk, and didn't try and hold the feeling of betrayal or anger back as he listened to every word they spoke

'What happened to my hero from before, the one I fell in love with?" Amy frowned as she tried not to cry

"Tails got hurt because of your decisions!" Knuckles snapped as he slammed his hand on the coffee table

"Well maybe you shouldn't let children fight someone else's battles" The reply was sharp and unlike any that they had heard come from the younger hedgehogs mouth, yet it made Knuckles even angrier

"Your the one who let him fight in the first place!" Knuckles hissed

"And what about me? Am I not worth enough for you to say that to anyone? i'm fifteen and I've been fighting Eggman since I was 8, so what's the difference" that made everyone go quiet, his emotions were beginning to bubble over as he started laughing "You think I'm doing this on purpose, You think I wanted to be a hero, you think I want fame and fortune and you have the fucking nerve to blame me for what happened?"

"Of course not!" Amy argued, but the fear in her eyes said other wise, yet Sonic smiled at them, it wasn't like he his kind and friendly smile he gave everyone, this one was dark, twisted and broken

"Really? Cause all I ever hear from any of you is 'oh Sonic why don't you love me?', 'faker why don't you fuck off' 'Why can't you be faster?' 'Why can't your do anything right' well. Guess. Fucking. What.' He growled as he stood "I'm sick and tired of the way everyone thinks I'm worth nothing more than a grain of sand that comes and goes only for the benefit of others" He snapped, there was a wave of chaos energy the caught them off balance as Sonic stood up and glared at them

"You can't control this side of you" Knuckles yelled "Look what happened last time!"

"last time was an accident" The voice that spoke caused chills to go down their spines "this is on purpose and you should know something else"

"And what would that be?" Knuckles growled as he stood to try and land a punch on the other to knock him back to his senses 

"I did care about you and everyone else, but that was before you saw me as something that could easily be manipulated" those were the last thins spoken before his eyes flashed a deep crimson colour, darker than even Shadows eyes and Knuckles was unconscious on the other side of the room, blood dripping down his skull as bruises began to form and then Sonic was gone
